Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes
I apologize if I've missed it, but do we have a summary of which SRT8 colors will be available beyond Bright White?

Ah, I get it. It's the availability of the MY14 SRT8 in Bright White Clear Coat.

I'll put it this way for now, as I know it to be accurate - there is no 6.2L scheduled for the WK SRT8 during the 1st half of the 2014 model year.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes
*sigh* Ok... In regard to these "pilots" we all keep referencing, let me put something out there for those who need clarity.. Bc there seems to be a misleading (false) narrative on here, and it's kinda annoying. You all DO know that "pilots" are NOT "concept" vehicles, right? I mean bc ppl talk abt pilots on here like they're a different car or sumn. I'm sorry, but I got news for ya ppl -- once the camo comes off, that's pretty much it! Idk how many ppl on here are TRULY familiar with the processes, and trust me I really don't mean to come off like a know it all, bc I'm not, but if you don't KNOW what you're talking abt, you shouldn't post it.
For example; Anyone remember when Milous and I were discussing someone's question abt what happens to pilots once their testing is up? HE SAID some are sold. I thought ALL OF EM got crushed. He was right. I was wrong. Most are destroyed, but some do survive, and ARE indeed sold. Now my question is this; If all these "changes" you guys propagate are gonna be made AFTER these particular pilots have already entered final phasing, AND THE CAMO IS OFF, then the guy who buys what was a pilot, essentially will have a one-off concept car, right?
Now.. Don't get me wrong. Few, and I mean FEW things, COULD change between now and the end of January. It's happened before. But I'll bet anyone a dollar to a dime that whatever does change, if anything, will not be a production surprise, and will most certainly come to pilot, before being launched. Again, what you see is pretty much it. Aside from an Overland (non-Summit), and the SRT8, you've seen it!
So what's my point? (Glad you asked..) Aside from the few suits up the ladder who monitor this site, and are willing to talk to maybe Scott or Milous abt different things, nobody knows what's coming except those of us who build em. We can all talk Apache engines, and V6s with twin turbos all day long, but until we build it, AND IT BECOMES A PILOT, then it's merely just another rumor. Ideas get canned all the time, and things ppl want don't make it to the build sheets, all the time. If something you see you don't like, wait to see if it does in fact get changed, but don't listen to ppl make unsubstantiated claims just bc they share your disdain.
(Don't mean to be a buzzkill, but don't believe the hype ppl... I digress.)
