That has current style headlamps installed, that's why there's no gap. The new headlamps have a "step" on the inner half of them at bottom, which creates the void. The best way to deal with that SHOULD have been to design the bumper to fill that void, making ANY sort of filler unnecessary. (Again, as is the case with the 300.)

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

That makes no sense at all since they had to redesign that part under the new headlamp anyways.

Not confirmed. But here is the preliminary info.

and here:

"Comment: Grand Cherokee, not confirmed"

So we still have no idea which colors will make it to the Grand Cherokee, even though they may be available on other Jeeps.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Does anyone have any idea when we can expect to see some sneak pictures of the Overland model and whether it will have a little more chrome than what has been posted so far with these latest spy pics. My dealer is wanting me to commit now for an MY14 but with a cost of around $73K "drive away" in Australian dollars I would like to get some idea of what the Overland will look like before placing my deposit. I actually like chrome, unlike others on this site and was very disappointed with these latest spy pics. I actually loved the Summit grille which is not available in Australia. Yeah, sorry guys, I think it must be because of my age (64) and conservative background but to me Chrome adds class. So, Milous...any help on what to expect with an Overland. The overland is top of the range in Australia and has everything the Summit has.....except for that nice summit grille. ha ha.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

and further to my last post. Sticking a 300 headlight on the JGC is a lazy option. Especially with the need for a plastic blank. A world class car that has attracted me to Jeeps for the first time and they go and take a short cut like that. It just does not make sense. A retrograde step from the 2012/13 in my opinion. This car had the potential to really cut into the sales of its competitors and should not be sloppy with these little things.

First, what is the deal with Chrysler and flat-boring-police car-white? White Pearl Coat is so much better, especially up close. Love the depth.

still blu-ray regardless of where the screens go? Since clearly DVD players in a 2014 model make as much sense as home builders who were still putting square TV nooks above fireplaces in 2010.

I went from a white Jeep to a pearl white MDX, big difference. The upcoming Jeep will be red.

Your guess on when we will see more pictures is the same as ours. Even the powers have stated that "official" pictures probably won't come until closer to the Detroit Auto Show. I can't see why your dealer wants you to commit now unless there is a HUGE interest at that dealer for the MY14.

I believe Milous made a comment on this about the Pearl White coat.. You can't completely go off the sample link as things are still being decided on color.

They might be Blu-Ray DVD system but they might just call it DVD System, maybe Milous or someone can comment on this.
