If that's the case, when should we start the 2016 thread?

Also, what is the average percent depreciation the first and second years of a new vehicle? Just thinking out loud- if they butcher the inside and outside colors for the 14s I'm seriously considering waiting for the next re-do. My only hope might be a sweet special edition model- we'll let Chevyboy design it and we'll name it after him. I'll even put an aftermarket Chevy bowtie in the middle of the grill!

Could someone photoshop that for me so I can see what it would look like? Put the Chevy bowtie emblem in the middle of the 2013 Grand Cherokee grill. Thanks!
I thought Milous and/or Scott said the next redesign was slated for MY16? I have no idea..

And you know I was JUST sitting here thinking abt sending you an orange decal with your brewski's that reads, "Bodies by chevyboy" lol.. I'd only ask that you take a pic of it on the rear window or someplace you could easily get it off, and post it on here! Lol..

And you kid, but I actually seen a "bowtie" on the front of an old fox-body Mustang a few years ago at the Detroit Autorama. Needless to say, it had a BBC under the hood, (which has become fairly common). But the emblem set it all off. All the Ford fanboys were walking by smacking their lips and waving him off.. But when he started that joker up, it sounded like a pissed off gorilla was under the hood trying to get out, and everyone cheered!

Hey Scott, get the word to Ralph.. 2014 JGC SRT8 "chevyboy edition" per JG enthusiasts! He can contact me for specs anytime.. First one goes to me in Crush Orange!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I just flipped my calendar to December and was trying to remember why there was a on the fifth.

Then I remembered and changed it to a

Since the calendar has January 2013, I flipped ahead and put a on the ninth.

Now, don't you guys in Detroit go changing anything on us again.

2.) M&M can correct me if I'm wrong, but as I know it to be, the process is; If you placed an order for let's say a '13 Rugged Brown Overland Summit with Saddle interior, and blah blah blah, and the order isn't able to be filled as a '13, you will be contacted by Chrysler or your dealer (prolly your dealer), saying, "Hey Mr./Ms. so and so, abt that order you placed, yea it ain't gonna happen.. Those clowns down at JNAP can't stay sober long enough to keep up and so here's what we can do..." Lol.. At which point you'd be given priority in ordering a '14. Of course they'd have you come back in and go over your order as need be, bc colors/options/features change. This applies to all orders. But mainly custom orders. Dealers go through this all the time, so they kinda know what's gonna happen. And so they try to keep up with their popular "stock" and not wait til the last minute to get something in they know they can sell relatively fast.

3.) Bc of the above^^^, many ppl who order a '14 when the order banks open WILL NOT necessarily be atop the orders list. (Many ppl never got their '13.) So you will be of the first NEW orders, but some could recieve their '14 before you. This is another reason why the order banks close so early with months to go before the next model year's production begins. Helps cut down on overlap.

4.) My name is Devin, and I am NOT an alcoholic.
Thanks... so if individuals who do place an order for the 2014s will not necessarily be atop the orders... will dealers who place orders for "general stock" vehicles (not for anyone in particular, but to sell to someone who walks in looking to buy a JGC at some point) be higher on the list, or will they be at the same position?

1st yr: $8,800
2nd yr: $3,876
3rd yr: $3,410
Thanks SnoFire! If it's '17' then I can jump on a '14'. My vehicle is used primarily for work and I can write off most of it over 3 years.
I really want the new guts and electronics so I think it'll be worth it.

If it ends up not being worth it at least I can go on this site and bitch and complain to Milous, Marlon, Chevyboy & the rest of them. I just hope all the welds hold up.

I don't know if this is true. But, when I had my Challenger on order, I was told that when the car is ordered has nothing to do when it gets built. There are many variables which determines this.

The two that stick out my mind the most are.

Dealer allocation, and part, option, and color restrictions.

yes...this is the new street/trail concept SRT. It will feature a 2nd gen air suspension quadra-lift2 with Toyo's new street/trsil tires with expandable sidewall technology. They will go from a 35 series tire to a 75 series...depending on what the owner calls for.
