Hey SnoFire, I never heard who won the border battle beer fest contest this year? Do you know?
Neither have I. I'm not a New Glarus fan, more of a Leines-Summit-Surly-Finnegans.

Are he headlights on the lower end models the same as the '11-13,s?

See that's the thing. I haven't seen that headlamp since the S1 pilot period and that was a few months ago now. I don't think it was the same, and I only saw one. Considering I haven't seen it since, then we may never see it.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Milous posted long ago that the Limited and up get LED DRLs incorporated into HID Bi-Xenon Headlamps; and that Laredos don't get the HID Bi-Xenon lights or LED DRLs.

Good question.. I don't have a good enough understanding of how the logistics of it all plays out, so I won't start spewing garbage like the politicians do, and duck your question. I'll just flat out tell you idk.

But! -- I'd ASSUME the dealer's orders would get priority. And the principle reason I say this, is bc they order in volume. Now if you place an order with a popular high volume dealer, there's a chance you'll get yours with their stock order. As opposed to walking into a dealer and placing an order, and you're one of only a few they've placed, and the big-shot dealer up the road, or across the country for that matter, places an order for 100, then you'll prolly end up behind them. That isn't saying their full order will be filled before we even start building cars for Joe Schmo's CDJ where you ordered, bc I KNOW thats not how it works. But you catch my drift. I could be totally wrong. Again, this is my opinion, and this is all PURE SPECULATION! So don't quote me on it. Either way, I don't wanna get anyone away from working with smaller dealers. As that has its advantages too. One being you tend to make better relationships with em, and can get a better deal sometimes as opposed to the dealer who thinks, "I don't need your money, I can sell this thing at sticker to anybody." So you gotta find that balance between the two.

I say place the order, and make good use of the tracking provided here, and cross reference that with when you start seeing 'em hit the lots in your area, and maybe use that info. (if possible) in the future on your next Jeep purchase!

Look at the spy shots of the Laredo.

They may be an option OR standard now.

New: Headlamps with LED DRL's (Limited/Overland/SRT8)

This is from the front page. I don't remember Milous saying any different of the HiD Headlights on the Laredo or X models.

Agreed. It would be absolutely criminal if that Cashmere makes it as an available color and an orange (Crush/Header being one possibility -- hopefully that's what chevyboy was hinting at!) doesn't. Also I really hope that if they do offer an orange, it's not specific to the highest trims...

I can totally see a Crush (or other good looking) Orange 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee in my driveway now though. That would be so freaking killer. And I think plasti-dipped (or blackened in some other way) door handles, side view mirror covers (the part that's either chrome or the same color as the vehicle, depending on the trim), and maybe grill would create an even more super badass look.
