Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Short answer, both of those dealers are suffering from cranial-rectum inversion syndrome.

Layman's terms... They don't know what they are talking about.

This doesn't surprise me, as my dealer was asking me questions.

Order. Do it now. Enjoy your 8 speed automatic.

Definitely not first on my list for ordering my '14.....
I bought my first Jeep from Burnsville and took them to the cleaners- they actually sold me a 2010 for about 2500 under invoice and I made them swap out stock tires for Goodyear Silent Armors including the spare as well as adding in a bug deflector and 6 free oil changes.

I have a VERY good relationship with Hastings Chrysler and started with Rochester awhile ago. He started listing on this site as well.

I'm going to start contacting some other ones soon but none are really willing to listen because they are mostly clueless that the '14's are on their way.

But it turns out I was right. Sorta. Well Marlon was right. Whatever.. (Just keep my apology, I'm sure I'll screw sumn else up here pretty soon.)

Point is everybody gets new headlights, and each model/trim has stand alone features that make it unique. So everybody wins..

Pretty much the same wheel. Same non-weighted edge, nicer tires mounted tho. (I hate the way these Pirelli's look.) I don't believe they have the slots (vents) in them, but like I said, VERY close in design.

Are you saying the 2014 Summit wheels are 5 split spokes so that each spoke looks like a two fingered claw, and these are 20 inch?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

what tires do you think they will put on them?

I was originally looking at an overland or a Summit b/c of the new saddle/black interior (which has now been changed to other colors) and all the extras but with the potential of a special edition with many of the same extras it's going to be a tough decision.

I'm thinking that white SRTish one that Chevyboy saw probably has a supercharger on it. That's my best guess

Thanks! So I guess when I'm looking at the current wheels of the SRT8 right now in order to get excited about the upcoming Summit, the real deal will be close to what I'm seeing now..

Is this the new SRT rim? Tough to see but you can see there are no holes in the spoke?

This was Ralph's jeep for the day on Thursday.
