Well, this is the initial spy-pic of the summit - so I guess this could indeed be the summit-wheel:

That covered light looks like it is hiding a wiper blade... but it is probably just a loose fold of the fabric.

Hmm, so does the SRT8 keep the LED-bar in the bumper?

S1. Nothing can be taken from that photo. Not saying that is NOT the wheel, as I don't remember right now, but...again... S1. Things can and most likely have changed... if not majorly, slightly.

You should have seen our initial 2011 S1s! LOL, oh boy, talk about a hodge podge of parts! I wonder if we had ZJ stuff in there!

No wiper blade. Loose fold of the fabric.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Folks, I didn't have a close look at the initial Summit spy-pics since the pics of the Jeeps without camo showed up - and after looking at these pictures

it appears to me that the Summit will have a different fog-light housing/assembly than the other models. The one in the camo seems to be more integrated into the bumper - like on the current SRT8 - while the one without camo sticks out of the bumper. i can't see that on the camo'ed Summit.

I can't tell, however, what's behind the camo..

I see why they use it now!

Ah, OK, that I didn't know. When these spy-pics were released we were basically under the impression that this would be the "real deal" Summit.

So I guess my previous post is not relevant any more because the sticking out fog-lights we've seen in the recent pics are obviously the real deal - on the Summit as well. Although...wouldn't it be some kind of a let down for SRT8-owners to lose these stylish LED-stripes in the bumper?

Yeah, if they both have the same fog-lights, it truly does work wonders..

I think the front of the Summit is signficantly different from the Limited. I think that Summit spy pics, the one that was sent to China is production intent style. Sorry Marlon.

Although I (obviously) haven't seen the new Summit yet, I'm trying to paint a picture of it in my mind. Thinking about the aggressive wheels and sleek air-intakes with chrome on it, I'm not a 100% sure if the fog-lights of the Laredo we saw in the spy-pics would match. I mean, think of the current regular fog-lights and put them on the SRT8-bumper. That would look a bit odd, right?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I just woke up and my immediate thought was that there was a huge tidbit released (packages/colors/pricing) so I had to get out of bed right away and check this site...

Anyone else going freakin' coo coo?

I've been staring at these pics of the front end & I don't know if it's an optical illusion but it sure seems as if the approach angle has been changed to be even more off-road capable if that's even possible.
I know it's not a big deal for most people as they never have their GC off road at all but I'm curious to see what the final specs are (angles, cargo space, turn radius, etc...)

Hey Chevyboy, I see you're up. Are you working tonight/this morning? Have you been able to investigate the headlights any further....have you seen any actually powered up yet?
