Thanks. Had some engine mods done and she's a beast. I'll never get rid of her but she's a 6 months out of the year ride, hence the WK.

Yea definitely not a practical vehicle for year-round dependability.

Copperhead, definitely, Copperhead. That would be my first choice. Plum crazy might be too crazy for most, but it would be my second choice. Tenative colors look like I'm going to have to settle for that Black Forest Green. I am sick of all the ho-humm drum color choices. OEMs only sell a lot of them because that is all that is available.
Jeep irked me with the gladiator tease. I know, it's was just a concept vehicle for 2005. Then why did they keep showing the dang thing? I'm ONLY looking at jeep now because of the 3.0l diesel. Durablity and bladder busting range are must haves. I would have preferred a ram, but no diesel available ! And I don't need a 2500/3500. Also i'm just not willing to spend 50 k on any vehicle or really any asset that depreciates as fast as vehicles do.
Not happy that the CRD is only going in limited an ' up '. I would prefer that it would be available as an engine option for the entire line-up.
Chevyboy, snofire, I often think you guys obsess too much over what most would consider minor details. Chevyboy- I don't mean quality, I mean front facia, grills, moldings, wheels, ect. And many of the most active members of this particular thread seem overly concerned with the srt. Now am I missing something? Does the WK2 designation mean only srt? Or is it for grand cherokees, all models? Because after almost three weeks of lurking I still can't tell. Although you all seem to spend an exorbinate amount of time on the srt. I understand that from a business perspective, considering the profit margin on them. But they are not the bread-and-butter model of the grand cherokee. That honor goes to the Laredo and Laredo x.
Marlon, your tibbits have been so engaging that they keep me coming back. I crave more about the crd.
For all the regulars, what is the record for lurkers before succuming to the urge to partiscipate?

(Yes, I know there are more out there with a stronger will than me, and will never reveal themselves.)

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Minor details?? Have you read all the comments on this change on multiple threads and the thoughts of others? If you want to call me out, that's fine. To call out Chevyboy for trying to get us tidbits from the factory floor as it is happening is not good.

I, along with others will be spending a lot of money on a vehicle and plan to order when the banks open on Jan 9th. We'd like to have the most information going into this. So unless your going to make my payment, just take the questions well all ask as good information.

I'm done pointing fingers, now back to the subject at hand.

Wow. That was hell of a first post. Pretty much pissing off half the people on this thread. everyone here has a special version or color they think is the only logical choice and everyone here can't wait to see the damn thing become available because they want their special one in their driveway. Nothing wrong with that, just let it be Dude.
Welcome anyway.

I kinda had a feeling, it seems they really only tend to only be offered on the higher trims on all cars sold in the US at least.
