Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

How many times do we have to tell you guys that the 2014 makes the 2011 look cheap? Despite the number of changes, they are all for the better and make an already good vehicle even better inside and out. Even the Laredo looks way more upscale than any before it.

Those Summit A-Pillars look great with their fabric, BTW.

Thanks.
We talk too much on here as is. Pictures would certainly make sure I call the unemployment office on Monday.

Fixed that for you.

It looks like those same wheels are used on the Limited in the spy shots, so I wonder if those are going to be the actual final wheels, for either the Laredo or the Limited. I would actually be kind of surprised if they were offered as standard on the Laredo, they look a little too sporty and "upper scale" to be base 17" rims.
The spy pictures are of a Laredo export model.

Well, probably because looks are subjective, so we're reserving final judgement until we actually see it for ourselves.

I believe you though, and it's good to hear that and makes it feel like my several month extra wait for the 2014s to come out will be even more worth it in the end.

Hmm, website as of today only shows black, gray, brown and winter chill. Could be outdated though..

Fabric on A-Pillars? Is that similar to the upscale headliner the SRT8 is going to get? I had something like that ("Alcantara") on my M5.

Yes sorry motortrend pics not autoblog. And you are correct these could be limited and up 18" instead of the 17" laredos. Although if I had to make a guess well see these on the laredos too.

Cool. Guess that shows how "unimportant" the MY13 WK2 is even for Jeep - they didn't bother updating their own website to show the Red and the White..

It would be nice to get these wheels in combination with the Offroad Adventure Package. While the current 18" you get on that package certainly aren't bad looking, something a bit more "exciting" like those in that picture would be highly appreciated..

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

'13 is redundant. We built them only because some people asked for them.

Well, so far, we only knew that the SRT8 would get a "special" headliner.

Guess that's not the whole truth, huh?
