You know exactly what I mean. But idc.. Y'all win. Whatever. Y'all can have this convo abt who deserves credit for "WK2." (What difference does it make?) But you guys are right, I'm wrong.

Oh and dude just told you he didn't ask you jack, he asked Milous, so I guess we both should shut up. From now I guess I'll do like a good boy and speak when spoken to. Apparently neither one of us know what we're talking abt... I feel the vibe. *nods head*

When I first found out they were going to continue with "WK" I was scrambling to come up with a web site name for the new generation. I originally planned to continue using the WKJeeps.com site name, and in fact changed the subtitle of the site for awhile, from "2005-2011 models" to "2005-2016 models". I then figured that it would be to complicated and cluttered to try and mix both generations on one site, and started looking for names. "WKtwo" was an early idea, but then I thought people would read/remember it as "WKtoo". I settled on "WK2" which seemed the most logical.

BTW, it was a Cerebus idea to stay with "WK" and not increment the letters ("LX" was also not progressed). The reason for stopping the letter changes was that they believed it gave away new product when RFQ's (request for quotes) went out. Ends up it caused more problems and confusion, so the idea was logically abandoned when Fiat came into the picture.

You *might* be the only one, my dreams have been about glitches causing future Grand Cherokees to roll down the line, like maybe one of those 2015 models with the parallel park assist feature?

Is Jeep indeed working on such a system for MY 2015? You already revealed that there's something similar to a 360 degree camera in the pipe - now, if they would also offer that on top, it would be even better.

Considering that Ford is already offering it, Jeep might "have to" do the same sooner or later...

Actually Jeep is working on it for MY 2014 - it will (you read it here first) debut on the upcoming 2014 Cherokee (Liberty replacement). It's *possible* that they could roll it out for the WK2 later in the 2014 model year, but as it stands I believe it is slated for MY 2015 in the WK2.

Thanks, Milous!

Not that I'm doing a lot of parallel parking here in Florida, i'd love to have this feature simply because I'm a true technology geek!

The more bells and whistles, the better. And, of course, more additional features for MY15 eases my pain and suffering for waiting a bit..

Well then if you are waiting for 2015 you'll get the wiper defrost feature, but I don't think you will be using it that much in FL!

Hey, I'm not debating any of this. You came up with it. I believe you. I respect your knowledge. You know this. I've thanked you for it. My post had nothing to do with JeepGarage, WK2Jeeps.com, or anything else here. I hate hearing WK2 in person. In real life. It's annoying TO ME. I don't mind READING it on here or anywhere else. Again, it's not a big deal. I guess you'd have to know the ppl I know who use it regularly (and other terms), and know why they do it, in order to understand. But again, it's not a big deal here. I just don't like pretentious overly judgemental ppl who come into the plant and think we're all ignorant bums who only have a job bc, "Obama gave it to us" or some dumb crap like that. The kinda ppl who think that bc these vehicles are built in Detroit, they undoubtedly need to be quadruple checked!!! (Some will read this.) Every now and then I have to let ppl know that you can't talk over my head, and you don't know more abt MY job, and what I do, than me! But the thought that they can, and want to show me their assumed "superiority" bc of race, (bc it surely isn't knowledge), is what disgusts me. THESE are the kind of ppl I deal with regularly at work, and in life. And the first time I heard "WK2" it was by one of THESE ppl. Went sumn like this; "So how do you like the WK2 so far?" and as I went to answer, I was cut off with, "You do know what that is right?," and a smirk. I wanted to smack the guy. But that would've only fueled his stereotypes. So me and "WK2" got off to a bad start. And so no offense to you or anyone else who enjoys "WK2," but I have my reasons why I don't care to HEAR it is all. Sounds silly, but when you're profiled as much as I am, it can be very annoying. Sadly some others aren't as knowledgeable as even I, and have to deal with the disrespect more often. These ppl love when they think they've learned you something. But whatever.. I digress.

Wiper defrost is nothing new, minivans used to have it back in the day! Glad it's coming back to... well... anything.

Are we talking about 2015s (VIN code F) already?

Well, you know all that I have to say...
