I did not know that, thank you...that puts me back on track! I cannot agree with your logic of "really weren't......first place", as I have been a Jeep SRT8 fan for a long time (I had a 2006 for a few years).

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

13 guys.

Out of HOW MANY employees?

3,468.

That's less than a half of a percent. Hardly a concern.

Even if they were to screw anything up, and most of our problems are the cause of the supplier, someone is guaranteed to catch it and it will be put right.

Wrong parts? Loose parts? Doesn't matter, the computers won't allow it.

I'm not sure why Rob Wolchek is so obsessed with us. Does he have some sort of problem with Chrysler? Who knows. But nobody cares about his reporting anymore.

Misaligned tailgates, blame robots. They put the body panels together, not humans.

2) the SRT has a new badge on the tailgate. The "8" is gone and it's in a different script. Looks similar to the script that's on the front grille of the Challengers and the Chargers. Thanks Devin.
Thanks (to you and Devin) for the info!

Hmmm...now you have me questioning what the voices in my head have been telling me

I guess we'll all find out in the next few weeks.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

If you are worried about 13 dinks possibly messing up your car that has to go through several layers of QA, I'm going to hazard a guess you've never ordered fast food... (and probably shouldn't).

As for my neighbor and his insistence on using boiling pots of water to defrost his window...

Yes it would. I could use my phone as basically a media server for my kids, and just load it up with movies/shows during trips, so no disc swapping.

However, I am reconsidering the GC purchase. With my in-laws in town this past week, it has reminded me of the pain in the a** of taking two cars everywhere due to only having two rows.

So - basically every 2014 SRT gets the '13 Alpine/Vapor look without being a special edition? Would that be a good description?

No it wouldn't.. Only from the front does it look that way. No black emblems, trim, wheels, etc.

At least not yet!

Just wait a year (or so) for the Grand Wagoneer that I would imagine having 3 rows of seating. Search this whole site to see what preliminary information there is about it.
