You know, I've never thought about that!

Hmmm.. I could have the millwrights build me a lil' shack using old parts bins, totes, scrap wood and cardboard. Then have the pipe fitters plum it. And the electricians could wire me up some juice! And then MAYBE Milous could somehow get me the WiFi password I haven't been able to crack, so I can keep up with my constituents! Lol..

This is sure to produce some interesting guesses.. I'm surprised SnoFire and 4jeepdiesel haven't risen from their sleep and jumped on it yet! Lol..

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Maybe Jeep is going to offer a Blue hair covering instead of paint :-)

Granite Crystal Metallic. May not have the Jeep, but I'll still drop in and keep up with the news.

Correct me if I am wrong, but I thought trim packages for export are up to the importer (within the limitations of what the factory can deliver, of course).

Switzerland has all 5 trim levels (Laredo, Limited, Overland, Overland Summit and SRT8), while France doesn't have the Overland Limited, but has a package option on the Limited called "Limited S".

As a side comment, France is so hell-bent on Diesel that the gas engines (Pentastar and 5.7 Hemi) are only available in Overland trim and on special order...

Ummm.. You may be correct, but I'm not sure. The reason I say that is bc there's often demand for a trim and/or options in a market, yet its the manufacturer(s) who choose not to offer it there.. So I think they have more control over that. For example, with this car, some of the features exports get aren't available here. Yet there's a demand for them. And ppl are more than ready to pay for them. If for no other reason, just to have them. But they're not offered.

That may not be an accurate equivalent to what you're saying.. Milous probably has better insight on this. (I tried. Lol..)

Ok, interesting.
And I remember now that on my '07 WK I have no apparent radio antenna (it's hidden in a side rear window panel, looks like defrosting wires) while US owners were fumbling to replace their telescopic whip with a shorter version... which indeed makes no sense from a commercial point of view.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Sorry to disappoint for not guessing the moment the tidbit comes out, I sleep until 530 and then have to read to catchup.

I would also say a new exterior color. Sapphire crystal?
