Dodge gets "performance priority" first... however, the Jeep will be the FIRST SRT vehicle to get the 8-speed.

I see the new 6.2L going the same way the 6.4L did with the WK. My guess is that the 6.2L won't come until the WK3.

As it stands, the 6.2 is not scheduled to replace the 6.4 in any of the SRT vehicles, the plan is to use it in special edition limited-run models only and it will carry a hefty price premium.

An X5 V8 is USD 91,200 but it is not as good equipped as the Jeep! You need to add another 15 to 20k to get the same level! But the V8s are not really relevant in Germany, the 3 liter Diesel X5 is a little cheaper than the Overland, to get the same level of features you need to add about 15 to 20k USD to the base price of USD 67,500. Thus the GC is not "cheap" in Germany but good value for money in the market. Plus a really great car I'm not considering the GC just because of the price. I'm just saying this because I think Jeep does a great job and I do appreciate that! In fact I could drive a German car with a much higher sticker price for less money (as a company car) but I don't care! I want the 2014 GC!!!!!

Will this new brown replacing "New Saddle" be more like the Russet Brown on the Laramie Longhorn? New Saddle is a bit too orange. But the Longhorn leather is amazing.

Sounds interesting! Does this mean the car will brake if the driver doesn't react?

And how can the seat comfort be improved? OK, the seats are not very soft but other than that they are heated and cooled what else can we wish for?

Thanks Milous! I really appreciate all the information!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I guess id be happy with a 6.4 if I could get it in white AND they clean up the lines while adding good looking wheels. I fell in love with the "one lap jeep" rims.
