That would drive me nuts. I wonder if it's possible to replace the wiper with a blade that is slightly larger, maybe + an inch or so?

It would not make a big difference. The wiper blade goes all the way to a black non-transparent film placed around the edge of the flipper glass. A big piece of flipper glass and no glass to see out of of!

Any estimates in what mpg will be with the Hemi and 8spd? I'm considering waiting now, just the idea of a bit better mpg is a warm thought.

Scooterha is correct...the wiper pretty much covers what you can actually see from the inside of the vehicle from a vertical standpoint. A longer wiper isn't going to make too much of a material difference.

Summit.. Hands down! Not to take anything away from the Overland, but the Summit is a horse of a different color.. There's really no comparison btw the two... And with that, @wap2012, the reason Canada may not have gotten Summit's in the past could be purely marketing NAME wise.. However if they offered Summit features on the Overland these past few years, yet didn't offer the Overland Summit NAME, essentially those cars are Summits. Any Overland you see up there with the matching dash, chrome grille and mesh, and chrome fog-light bezels, IS a Summit. I believe this happened in Europe too.. But with so much being different btw 'em for '14, I see NO reason why everyone won't get both. The issue this time around could be Limited-to-Overland.
I can't remember every option but I do know that my brother got the loaded 2013 overland and he couldn't get the olive wood steering wheel, chrome mesh grill, chrome tow hooks or fog bezel inserts. Some of these features were not an option. So I believe there are a few minor option differences between the two. Not just a name.

I'm just hoping I can get all the Summit options even if its just called an Overland here in Canada but I have my doubts. Would be nice to get the suede headliner etc that the Summit model will offer. Hopefully we get the Summit here or at least ALL the options!! I always wanted the SRT8 but the wife will kill me so the next best option would be the SUMMIT for the luxury with the hemi. And I'll be set! Thanks for everyone's helpful info on this site! You guys are great!

Happy 2013 to all. 9 days +/- a few spy pics. Great observation skills by bossk and thanks for posting. Here's hoping that it's an older version of daily driver prior to final design. The Euro pdf got my hopes up. This white Limited has me thinking 2013 model. Final decision to come post-DC auto show.

I'd hate to order in Jan. and miss out in say 8mo-1yr, bc I can't afford to keep flipping cars. I don't have it like that. Nor do I need that kinda attention. There's just too many other causes in the world I could throw money at. But I DO want what I want.. Feel me?
Chevyboy, I do feel you and I am in the same boat. This next truck would be the first vehicle I ever buy new, so I'd hate to pull the trigger only to (kinda) regret it 4 months later because the hellcat comes out with another 100 extra ponies. Not that the current (or previous) SRT badly need another 100, but once you've tasted SRT and AWD in the same package, you realise the more there is the better, and when you sign the dotted line for the top-level trim, it's always annoying when it becomes second-to-top just months later.

Happy New Year to all!!!

I was very disappointed with the spy pics and the white limited but am really hoping Chevvyboy is correct when he says the Summit is a horse of different colours. Chevvyboy also reckons their is a big difference between the Overland and the Summit. I am relying on you Chevvyboy because I was so disappointed with the initial spy pics. Does anyone know how good the Range Rover Evoque SD4 4wd Auto is. That would be my next choice. The 11-13 JGC had a point of difference in the market place with that great grille which has now been softened to just another car. At least the Range Rover Evoque has something quite different in its styling. I am really hoping Chevvyboy is right and this Summits going to knock me over. Everything appears so good about this Jeep until they modified the grille.

Hey, I love my White Altitude. Wouldn't get any other color. Black is a pain in the ass to keep clean.

But back to the picture, I am not a fan. IT does look too Compass like. I prefer my more aggressive looking 12. BUT the 8 speed and 8.4 inch nav would have been nice.
