It works well.. but you're waterlogged for the first week. You drink your weight in ounces more to the point so if you're 250 lbs, you drink 250 ounces over the course of waking up to going to bed. (that's if your active, if you're not active, you do 75% of that #)
It doesn't work endlessly, it's part of a 21 day program as well as a 90 day program in the book. This guy creates the plans for celebs to lose weight and tone up for roles. The first week on the program, drinking this water will result in losing 5 lbs. In week two, you lose 2-3 lbs from water, week three - 2-3 lbs. Of course different for everyone. the book details it more so.
