Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

These spy pictures aren't helping - inside and out looks terrible. I've ruled out getting a new one. That flat black plastic on the center stack, of the Summit no less, and gimmicky bright red and blue around the controls looks CHEAP. FAIL.

I'd wait until you see the press photos, or better yet, when you see one in person. You may change your mind....

Got my NAIAS tickets yesterday. Kroger has tickets on sale for $10 instead of $12 if you buy them before I believe its the 19th of Jan. Can't wait to see the 2014 Summit and SRT8. Hopefully we will have information on wether Canada will be receiving the Summit model. Went to partridge creek mall as well and didn't spot any 2014's in the lot. I had my camera ready just in case. My wife thought I was nuts. I did take some nice pictures of XJ Jaguar they had on display for $78,000. Looks really sharp as well as the New Land Rover's they had there too!. Kinda tempting. But I'm sure the same vehicle is around $100,000 in Canada. So I'll stick with the 2014 Summit Please!!!! Maybe the SRT8 if it blows me away at the auto show and I can somehow brainwash the wife into buying one.

Real pictures of the fully production models in high resolution cannot come soon enough because it's been all downhill since that red one was shown on Allpar and the white one here. Yikes.

So far, even this interior "upgrade" looks disappointing (not yet seen Indigo Blue excluded) from the most recent pictures and that Brown Summit scan. Very strange.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

We need to remember - these are amateur (at best) pix shot with phones most likely in poor lighting situations. Also, this is not a $130,000 Porsche Cayenne Turbo so once should not expect hand stitched leather.

Models change and before a group pushes major changes to a body into play, it goes through more focus groups than one can shake a stick at.

They don't just blindly say, DUCKS? I freaking love ducks. Let's give it a duck skin headliner.

They do their homework. I have faith in what they're doing. We'll know soon enough though right? Maybe Milous or someone will slip some more images to us before Jan 14th.

Read - don't let me down guys. I want a duck skin headliner.

I sat in a 300 SRT today and the center console is very very close to the new Jeep. It was bad ass. The huge screen was intense. Very cool. Almost like having an ipad dash like the Tesla S model (although not as big)

I'm thinking that the flash has made the plastics look all glossy and therefore cheap the edges seem to be more matt

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

The spy pics suck.

That's all I'm going to say about that.
