No idea for the WK. On the Ram it varies from $500-$1000 to upgrade to the 3, 4 respectively. But it can be tough to decipher exactly, given the way they put things into packages.

If the past is any indication photos will be leaked ahead of time. But Jeep has been working extra hard to keep any and all 2014 information under wraps. Moreso than I have seen for any other model, save for the Viper.

From what I can tell so far the RA1 is going to be for fleet models, making the RA2 the standard base radio.

I don't believe that anyone has been able to confirm if CRD ordering will open this month or in February. In 10+ years of following Chrysler releases I have never seen order dates change so much, and never so much secrecy around them!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

dumb question guys.. when you say " order banks open" is this only a USA phenomenon? or does that signify global order banks so the vehicle can be then ordered in all markets. I ask as I know each market ( my interest is Australia) has slightly different options and configs even the standard options vary country to county and need to pass that regions specific design and compliance rules.

The only reason I could think of for it not to be DAB+ is that what is called HD radio in the US equals the older DAB standard and JEep had no interest for that feature to work as good As possible in export markets. I think I will google for it.....

Or should we really treat "first allocation" of CRD's the same as petrol ones? That is, first ones in the door, are the first to get em when they roll off the line?

Can someone explain to me, why, the more money you spend on a Jeep, the less colour options you have to pick from?
LOL Did you see the color options they are offering on the Laredo's? But when you purchase a Limited or Overland You get the pick of the litter, but when you reach the Summit it goes back down to like 5 colors. I guess they are focusing more on the money makers ie: Limited and Overland as the laredo has pretty much became a fleet vehicle and the Summit is for a Select few who want all the bells and whistles. Speaking of Overlands... I looked at a Range Rover with navy leather and black/light beige trim it, and it was freaking hot! now if someone could loan me the 118,000.00 to buy it!

At WK2Jeeps they are calling it "DAB/DMB - Digital Audio Broadcasting, Digital Multimedia Broadcasting, for export models"

Whatever that means

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

LOL Diesel tis true tis true. I am eager to see what they have done with the interior on the Laredo and Overland. Milous, are the colors for the exterior listed on the chart listed just for the Laredo base or does that include the X also?
