Would be very cool, when it's made like in some german cars (doors, under the wood, food room a.s.o.)

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

So while Pat and Milous have both said it seems like the order banks won't be opening until next Tuesday (the 15th), I would imagine/hope we'll have a definite answer by the end of the day tomorrow.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Yep, should be an interesting week. Even if the order banks were to open on Tuesday there is absolutely no information. Option packages, colors, pricing, photos, nothing.

I've taken so many classes about how to roll out a successful product launch and marketing campaign and this whole thing looks like it is being administered by the marketing antichrist.

Like I said a couple hundred pages ago, it's like a stealth product launch. They hope nobody finds out about it, especially their dealers.

What am I missing, I really want to give them my money.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

The only info my local dealer has is that the Jeep rep informed them they'd be sent 2014 models. As in they won't be able to order what they want. While I was there I test drove a V8 Overland and was surprosed the sticker was almost 48k and it didn't even have Safety-Tec. I'm back on the fence between the V6 and V8. Hoping the 8 speed compliments the V6 better than the 5 speed. The power is there but it doesn't apply it smoothly.

Lol that picture is huge! It's a Suncoast shaker. Got it from the guy who designed the mold amd he had an extra finished hood just laying in his shop.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I took a look at some WK2s again today, and they had a Maximum Steel. A unique color for sure, and were it made available for the Laredo for 2014, I'd have to take a second (or third and forth -- this isn't an easy or small decision!) look at it in the sunlight to decide whether I wanted to choose it, True Blue, or perhaps another color.

The Bright White also looks nice. An added bonus is that it should (theoretically) be easier to keep looking nice, clean, and scratch (or the appearance of scratches) free compared to the darker colors. That being said it's a common color and a might be a little "sterile" for my taste so I don't know if that's the route I'd want to take. In addition, while it looks nice with the 2011-2013 front end/grille, I haven't gotten a good enough look at it with the 2014 front-end and grille.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

It is a strange launch... ah well it is keeping people interested in the Jeep product we all love. Although some of us may not like the new changes there are people on here who will love them as I do my 2012. I keep following this thread because it is exciting to see what is going on with a car I truly love more than any family I have lol.

I would imagine that the order bank "order form" would show all the packages and stuff. That being said I don't know whether or not they give details about each package and trim. For example it might list "All Weather Capability Group" as an available option, but would it list everything included in that group?
