Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I wish that is how my conversations would go with my wife. She just wishes this vehicle would just show up in my driveway already so I can shut up about it...lol

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

My wife and i need to go and test drive the SRT at the local dealership. She claims she wants one but I'm not sure she will like the way it rides when compared to her current Overland. Next Friday or Saturday I will be headed to a different dealership to talk to my salesman and hopefully place an order.

LOL Your wife may be more about aesthetics more than technology, and if she ends up liking the exterior of the 11-13 as well as interior you may have to please the wife and forget about Pandora LOL

I hope people go back for seconds when they show up to eat crow. Still reserving judgement for the show, but Milous's pictures look promising. I wonder if Chrysler will put one of the WK2s on a dimmer stage/show area to show off the new glows.

They removed the power tilt/telescop from the 2013 Overland model. I wonder if they are putting it back in the 2014. I tried the manual lever in the 2013 Overland and it was lousy. Power is the way to go. I hope they put it back for 2014.

I believe I saw earlier it was on the Limited model for 14 so I'd imagine it will be on the Overland as well.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Well, here we go, just registered as a member...mainly because of this thread (and it's taken a while to read it!) I WILL be a new Jeep owner as soon as the CRD gets here as the very first web search looking for the GC diesel brought me here. This new vehicle will replace my 220K 2003 Dodge 2500 Cummins as I'll have the tow capacity with the new GC to replace it, but I'll still hang on to my 03 VW (220K, avg 48 MPG-can't give it up!) Have to laugh at "wife thinks I'm nuts following this site" posts as well as the unbelievable knowledge on what's coming up with the GC. I'll sit back again and listen, but as a little diesel tweak, here's why I'm so jacked about this vehicle:

Inside The Banks VM Motori 3.0L 630T V6 Diesel Engine - Diesel Power Magazine

If Gale Banks thinks an engine is good, that's good enough for me-and the possibilities of future mods is exciting. Not too mention the gorgeous sheet metal and leather surrounding this engine!

Milous any news on the overland summit wheels yet? Are they keeping the same ones or changing them for 14?
