Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I will not miss the flipper glass but I would love to have a path thru for my skis. This would be really useful for me as I cannot fold the rear seats when the car seats of my kids are installed. But I guess there is no chance that Milous just forgot to mention that change.....

the luggage rack on top of the Jeep will help you there.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Maybe the flipper glass is activated solely by the fob now and there is no need for the lift piece on the Laredo-Summit flipper glass? Or is it just gone?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I'm also confused about the Summit. I thought the color was called Moroccan Sun? Or are they just simplifying the colors by saying "Jeep Brown/Copper"? Chevyboy you also said the Light Frost Beige Overland seats now just get White piping instead of the contrast dark gray/black piping it had on the 11-13?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Missing glass port (MGP?) sure puts more pressure on the 8-speed MPG improvement. The glass opening was one of my favorite GC features.

that doesn't make ANY sense at all....with the back up cameras, blind spot monitering, etc....who needs visibility?

I haven't checked to see if they come on without turning on the parks (but car in gear). I'll take one for a spin on Friday and let you know more specifics.
Meet me in Chicago & we'll swap vehicles. Just let me know what time.

I'll buy you a beer for your trouble & possibly McDonalds.

12 hours? That's nothing!!! We've discussed things like the black electrical tape for days before so quit whining!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Looking at some of the spy shots, it doesn't look like the wiper covers any more of the rear window. Increased visibility, unless it's raining.

I'd rather give up the sun roof than the flip glass. I never even open the shade on my sun roof. But that's just me, and Jeep didn't ask my opinion anyway.
