....IF there are any left - and that's a big "IF"...

But seriously:

Milous, I guess that these new "under-seat lights" are not what you were talking about HERE:

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Not asking for them.... but any idea when the pics will be made available?

I'm not sure why everything has to be a big secret. Releasing the pics more than likely increase sales and orders. I'm sure some people love the current look and will hate the refresh. I'm betting they may lose some sales by holding out.

Yes. People always prefer the old model. Nobody will want all those kooky upgrades. LEDs, larger touch screen, more comfortable seats, 8 speed trans, better gas mileage.

I agree on the first sentence... where is your BIG NEWS Scott???!!! However, I'm sure we're screwed because they want to sell all the 2013s before they get people too excited about the 2014s. I'm just crossing my fingers that we get to see pictures before order banks open....

Official photos will probably not be released until December or January. It may be unveiled at the Detroit Auto Show (January 14th). The exterior cosmetic changes will not be significant enough to greatly alter the overall appearance. Enthusiasts will notice even if a bolt has been moved but the general public will probably hardly notice the changes.

Hey Milous, Im from JU all the back from 2000. I remember when you started your WJ site and you had a WJ. Do you have a WK2? If so what model? Just curious. Also, any word on the Grand Waggy? Havenot heard much recently in the rumor mill. Gas near $4 again could always affect such a vehicle.

I went through several new WJ's ('01 Limited, '02 Limited and '04 Overland). Traded the Overland for the '06 WK SRT first month it came out, and traded that a couple years later for an '08 WK SRT, which I still have as my DD. Thinking about a WK2, if so it would be a 2014 Limited or Overland (SRT is out of my budget range , but may consider a used one down the road). Last I checked GW is set for 2014.5 or 2015 model year, very little info available at this time.

I do miss the WJ's, they were good to me, the only issue really was with the infamous warped rotors, but my dealer took care of me well after the warranty expired.

I bought the 2001 at the end of the model year, ahead of the days of having advance information. A month later I found out about the extensive changes for the refreshed '02 models. I couldn't resist the many new key features - 4.7L HO, RB1 nav radio, side curtain air bags, TPMS, electroluminescent gauges, RainSense wipers and adjustable pedals. Traded it in with <5k miles on it and lost thousands, but having the new goodies was well worth it.

These are great news to me as I really like the looks. And yes, noone will complain about upgraded Uconnect and 8speed, including me. The looks from the current model with all the upgrades we already know ... like the perfect GC for me I will be at the dealer when I can order one
