Second question: In your page 1 update it says "- New: Headlamps with LED DRL's (Limited/Overland/SRT8)". Is it a typo that the Summit isn't included, or does the Summit have different headlamps?

Finally, my standard question: Any news on France getting the Summit model this year?
Overland only for the chrome tow hooks.

Summit has the LED DRL's (as well as adaptive headlamps).

No word on export Summit models for France.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Any tow hooks on the Summit at all?

As well, can it be fitted with the ORA1/2 package (the current one can, but... who knows with the new release)?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Awhile back someone asked about the Power tilt/telescope steering wheel - it is optional on the Limited and Standard on the Overland, SRT and Summit.

Great

And finally my time zone pays off

Instead of catching up in the morning on my blackberry on my way to work, that's exactly when I get up!

Milous,

Is it correct to say that the only real differences between the overland and the summit are the sound system and the adaptive headlights (save for design differences like the bumpers and different wheels and leather) while the Overland gets tow hooks which the summit will not get?

Thanks!

Summit gets headlamp washers and front park assist; Summit does not get Selec-Speed Control. Summit, as before, also includes many Standard features that are Optional on the Overland.

No hooks offered. The OR groups are not available either. The focus for the Summit is Luxury.

That's that odd speed control thing that comes with the CRD correct?

Sounds like the Summit will still be a capable offroader, minus Tow Hooks (which I use to pull people out of the ditches and such around here when it snows, but for very little else), it seems like it gets everything else (QL/QD2, etc...).

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Just out of interest,

Milous, do you know if the 7" color TFT premium vehicle information screen will have the same features across all models??

Ie: Will the Overland have a few more features on the screen over say the Limited or Laredo?

Thank You.

Many Limited's have chrome tow hooks as well.. Or did this change too? I'd say more than half of the ones I've seen had them. As very few pilots were "base" models. Some of them are so well optioned, the only way you can tell them from an Overland (exterior wise) is the gray/matte body moldings..
