R.I.P. Flipper Glass.

Oh well, it never really worked right anyway. Still had to lift it by hand. It didn't pop open on its own like a Liberty or first gen WK.

The difference between QDII and QTII is that one uses true ELSD diff the other one tries to simulate it by using breaks. Not the expert but QD2 is a little bit better because you don't lose power by using breaks, you just transfer power via ELSD. This is getting off topic so you can google it, probably discussed gozzillion times.

Currently I THINK whatever is standard (QTII vs QDII) is driven by engine type not necessary by trim/model (except Laredo which gets QTI which is missing low range transfer case).

V6 => QTII and you cannot really upgrade even if you get ORA2
V8, CRD => QDII for V8 might be an option with ORA2. Seems like it might be standard now - it is if you get CRD.

Totally agree with this. I just keep a tab open on my browser and refresh it every 30 minutes or so. I hope IT isn't monitoring my internet usage over the past few weeks...

You'd hate to buy the Hemi thinking that it will give you the best performance, and then see a CRD blow by you.
Excellent point, and a big part of the reason I'll be getting a CRD over the Pentastar. We live in Northern Arizona at over a mile elevation and even if the "break-even" point on mileage between the two is years down the road, the CRD will maintain its power.

What are you talking about? Please explain and make sure it takes up at least 3 or 4 pages so that people get really annoyed.

Thanks in advance.
