Milous,

We have a 2012 GC Overland and it's a lemon...the problem was with the quadralift. My question is can we build a limited 14 and build it loaded up enough to be an overland without the quadralift? Would there be anything that we COULD NOT get on te limited? (I'm aware of the lack of interior choices)
We are ordering Tuesday so thanks in advance!

Milous, the features put into the export models are different to those in the US market. When do you believe would the export market model lineup & specifications/options become available, also next week or only later?

Although they are old, the first 2 posts in this thread have been updated by Milous. #2 will probably answer most, if not all, of your questions.

There are a lot of different ways everything is packaged, and there are some features that are not available on the Limited. It would be easiest for you to study the "Feature Availability" document that I will be posting Sunday night. This PDF document lists all of the features and options, with columns on the right side that denote which models are applicable.

Here is what the 2013 model year document looks like, the '14 will be similar:

http://www.wk2jeeps.com/2013/2013_wk...ailability.pdf

By the way, they have made some engineering improvements to the QL system so hopefully it will be more reliable on the 2014 models.

Thank you so much! Also, You did mention those improvements prior and I'm using that info to convince the wife that the QL isn't the devil! The issue we had was a "THUD' that came from the rear of the car upon starting from a dead stop. Chrysler felt it was the air bags "catching" after acceleration. Maybe the .5" ride height adjustment will make a difference? Thanks again!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I doubt it. Knowing the base system (QNX), each of the functions is a essentially an app the lower menu bar executes. That's why the Garmin system fits between the top bar and the menu bar at the bottom. It's an app that fits that space. If you want to dig into details about the system, go here. The layout may look kind of familiar

I wish the screen was a bit higher res for better detail. Higher resolution can overcome the size.

Just wanted to mention that I really enjoy this forum and the passionate way members and especially our Jeep employees & moderators dedicate their time for this extremely helpful forum for exchanging information, supporting problem resolution, or sometimes just allowing venting of frustration.

Decided this deserves appreciation and made myself a Lifetime Member.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Will the plastic body "lining" at the bottom of the vehicle on the Laredo be black as it is on the 2011-2013s?

All of the lower rocker trim is dark gray.
