Something about an AMP SUV dealio...electric/hybrid version.
Of course they should qualify for a rebate because you know electricity is free, right?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Diesel you know I have to say... I really think the new front end of the GC would look pretty bad ass in a Burnt Orange color... If they don't offer some variation of Orange with this styling in a few months I really would be surprised.

Good morning from the west coast... Did I phone not open up the 20" overlad wheels? Or was that intentional Milous?

How about printing some JeepGarage logos on some postcard stock. Then all you guys who are members can sign the back for us.

Something like; I installed your floor ChevyBoy

Just leave it in the glovebox, or in some predetermined hiding place.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

How about roof rack? Is this the same design as on 11-13 models?

Wonder if Yakima/Thule will have to redesign their stuff again to fit. Shark fin antenna will definitely help with carrying skis/ surfboards and even bikes on the roof. Hopefully they didn't mess around with it to much or they didn't took it out just like they did wit flipper glass.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Based on some manuals I've read and some new partnerships it seems like navteq might be the map provider for both. Junction views poi on route and other features I think we'll be missing maybe? Might have to play in a ram to see what the interface is like. From the screen shots I've seen it is a bit improved from the '12 I have. The one step destination entry seems sweet and works well from a few vids I saw.

After ordering, when you guys start getting your VINs, and possibly a build date, anyone who's interested just pm me and/or Marlon and we'll work sumn out on an individual basis.. I wasn't gonna ever say anything, but Marlon told me a while back that there's a pic somewhere of a Jeep and it has Milous' signature on it. I guess the pic was taken inside of here.. Milous, you know anything abt that, sir!??? So maybe he too can bless you guys'/gals' cars!

I was actually just kidding when I said I would sign dashes and stuff, but if there's a real interest, I'd make time to do it.

(Still need to make sure it's ok to do though.)

Edit: If this is able to be done, again, only for those who want it done, bc it's through JG I will say I'll only do it for those who are at least a Level 1 member..

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Gotta say, I love the 18" wheels that I assume will be coming with the Overland with ORA II. They look a lot like the ones on our bimmers.

You can't generalize about the West - as someone else posted, Cali is its own country. Here in northern AZ it's Wrangler country, with pickups in second. If we go to the local Cal Ranch (western store - clothing, boots, hardware, guns, ammo) in a bimmer, my wife tells me to park far away so she won't be embarrassed.

She loves putting stuff on her Rubicon. Her favorite is a decal I got her that stretches across the top of the windshield and says in big block letters:

HUMMER RECOVERY VEHICLE

Jeepers and cops love it.
