Nope....just being REAL! But dont put words into my mouth. Yes...there were members who had extended waits of 14-16 weeks! The average seemed to be about 8 weeks.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Good idea, Chevy - a little like the very end of the excellent Band of Brothers series when you find out the actual identities of the soldiers who'd been narrating along the way. Though, on an internet forum, and (no offense to anyone) decidedly less heroic.

And just so this post isn't completely useless, I really would like to thank Milous, Chevy, Marlon, Scott, and all of the other active & informed members for what is, overall, an excellent 6500+ post thread. I'm glad I started reading a few months ago, and pity those who'll start on Monday!

Hello, can you tell me what dealer you are talking about? I buy my vehicles in the Houston area as well! Thanks!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

First let me say this site is a pleasure to come upon, alot of info. I will be ordering a CRD hopefully an overland model, waiting for the wife to make her mind up on colors, this is my first jeep purchase, when not on the forums I am running around busy as ever. I am a tractor trailer driver for a large shipping company. I reside on the island of long NY, hopefully to retire soon so I can have more time to play. Will be letting all you know what will be the outcome with my purchase and some pics if you dont mine

South Park's "Smug Alert" episode captures SF perfectly. Smug Alert (Season 10, Episode 2) - Full Episode Player - South Park Studios

If it ain't a hybrid that sources its materials from 25 countries and ships them all around the world a few times, then your non-hybrid is the enemy. Not surprised SF didn't pick up on it -- maybe Jeep was counting on it.

To be fair, Chrysler's "Imported from Detroit" ad campaign might actually be working on them.
