Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

No SRT pics, which Milous said we could expect at midnight tonight, and there are under 100 images here and Milous said well over 100, so this isn't all of them.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Yes it does, I'm not knocking the Summit but the new dual exhaust does not look like it fits properly, its not flush with fascia surrounding it. It looks like its dangling there. The interior of the Summit is Very nice love the headliner but... The Overland Interior is bad ass!!!

I think the two semicircles on the left and right are fixed (tach, fuel, temp). Everything in the middle (speedo, temperature, compass, gear indicator, and the other small arc with icons next to it) are part of the TFT. Just guessing based on what I remember from previous descriptions. Definitely looks seamless tho!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I really want the 19 speaker Harmon Kardon in the Summit, but man oh man, the summit has way way way too much chrome. That front end chrome looks horrendous. The wheels look like they are off a pimpmobile. I guess I can get an Overland with every option available and live with the lesser stereo. Maybe the Summit won't look sooo Pimpish in person.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Tell me something, would a black interior in the Overland be basically the same as the Summit? Also, in a nutshell, why would I get the Summit instead of the Overland? The main differences I see are all the Pimpish chrome, suede headliner, 19 speaker stereo, headlamp washers. Am I missing anything else MAJOR difference wise between Summit and the regular Overland?

That's funny, and I thought the same thing! If you only want the Summit for HK 19 speaker system, just spend a couple bucks and upgrade the Overland stereo system.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

So now that I'm no longer worried about the new grille looking like crap (it doesn't, although the jury is still out as to whether or not it's an improvement), alls I'm worried about is this thing (Laredo/Laredo E) being priced outside of my budget.

I can't imagine it would get too drastic of a price increase, but you never know. One would think (and hope) they'd want to keep the starting price a little below $30K like their competitors...

As I said, the red makes it even "flashier". That would be too much for me, too.

On the Summit, a more "conservative" color does a better job. Grey can compensate some of the chrome-effect.

Cisco - go look at the sheet on WK2jeeps to find out the difference for the interior. As for the differences in the models, we are waiting for the specs to come out...chill man

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

All of the vehicles in the photos look outstanding.

I do have to say that while I really like the richness of the brown/indigo and brown interiors, I still remain a fan of lighter colored interiors. My current one was a significant compromise for me, but the saddle added enough lightness that I could deal with the abundance of black elsewhere. I honestly would have to think about this harder if a MY14 was in the cards...but it's not going to matter much at the moment since it will be a bunch of years before I'm ready for a refresh, anyway.
