Too bad it doesn't look like that in real life (in my opinion), otherwise I'd have a REALLY hard time choosing between that and the DCR. It looks killer in those photos.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Long time reader but first time poster...deciding between this and a few other things...I loved the 2013's but was a bit thrown off bc I really wanted the 20" wheels and pano sunroof but loved the darker wood on the Laredo models...I was disappointed it was impossible to get the dark wood, 20" wheels, pano combo...these look MUCH better than I expected. A few questions, and I apologize if they've already been answered

1. When are these going to be in showrooms to actually test drive, etc? I have asked a few salespeople and they all say July, Aug...I don't want to wait that long, and kind of think (hope) it's sales tactic...any hard answers on this? I know it says Late Jan/February sales launch, is that accurate?

2. Did anyone ever say for sure the MPG on the V6 NON CRD?

Any help is appreciated, thanks!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Maybe it's just all the excitement getting to my head, and the fact that the press shots are really well done... but am I the only one who is actually starting to like the new smiley grille more than the '11-'13 one?

Don't have any pics of Sepia interior yet... I'm hoping that it will be at the show tomorrow and if so Scott will be uploading them as fast as he can!

Mpg is 21/25 I believe for the pentastar and they should be in dealers by late March, early April!

Excitement. The interior is killer and definitely a home run.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

New member. First post. Thanks to all the members who have contributed to an incredible wealth of information for GC buyers. I will be ordering my new GC in the coming weeks. What I would really love to do is to pick the car up through factory delivery in Detroit. I realize of course that this option is not available. However, this is a common practice in Europe and is an available option for the Corvette at the Corvette Museum in Bowling Green. Does anyone know why factory delivery has never been done before?

+1

I like the chrome at the bottom! It looks like a whale shark mouth and it is ready to scoop up all those crappy asian/european SUV's, just gobble them up and spit them out the back.

I'm a fan

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Thanks for getting back to me, much appreciated.

Late February early March should be doable, but late March April is a loooonnnnggg wait! The sooner the better!

Hoping my dealer down here in South Florida gets them late Feb so I can scoop one up...if it's going to be April I may need to go in another direction.

I love he new interior, real classy...and that gear shift looks like they lifted it right off the X5
