Marksy has a brilliant future
I wouldn't be surprised if they bring the overland in and claim it is the same level model as we have always had and up the price on the summit. Lets hope not - may be a good reason to not introduce the extra trim level in aus and keep things how they are until 2016 models

dark gray. Standard wheels are five-spoke 17-inch aluminum wheels painted Tech Silver. Available
aluminum 18-inch wheels with a twin five-spoke design are painted Satin Silver. The rear fascia
features the new signature tail lamp design along with dark gray lower trim and a single chrome
exhaust outlet.

Grand Cherokee Limited models keep the dark gray lower rocker trim and add a body-color grille with
chrome grille slot frames and headlight treatment. Bi-xenon headlamps with Grand Cherokeeís
signature LED running lights are available. Chrome trim outlines the lower fascia opening and skid
plate. The wheels on Limited are aluminum 18-inch with a twin five-spoke design and are finished in
Satin Chrome. Polished 20-inch five-spoke aluminum wheels with Mineral Gray-painted pockets are
optional. The Limitedís rear fascia features a chrome trimmed bumper sill protector and dual chrome
exhaust outlets.

All Limited (and Overland and Summit) models feature standard chrome side mirrors and door handles.

Grand Cherokee Overland models feature bi-xenon HID headlamps with signature LED daytime
running lights, chrome tow hooks in the lower fascia and body-color lower fascia trim. The body-color
trim carries over to the wheel arches and surround the polished 20-inch five-spoke polished aluminum
wheels with Mineral Gray-painted pockets. The lower rocker panels and trim on the rear fascia also
become body color.

The new luxurious Grand Cherokee Summit model tops the range and receives many unique styling
cues. The bi-xenon HID signature headlamps are adaptive, and swivel in conjunction with the steering
wheel. This improves visibility around bends and turns and is a brand new safety feature for Grand
Cherokee. High-pressure headlamp washers are standard.

Between the lamps is a chrome finish on the upper grilleís mesh pattern.
The entire lower fascia is unique and features a pronounced chrome trim similar in design to the Grand
Cherokee SRT model. The front bumper is larger and features a slimmer opening for the projector fog
lamps compared with other models. The lower lip is a contrasting dark gray. Larger, body-color wheel
arch moldings are similar to the SRT model, but the Summit has a dark gray lower rocker trim panel
with a chrome strip that runs along the top edge of the rocker. This chrome accent helps to visually
lengthen the side view of the new Grand Cherokee. Satin clear coat 20-inch aluminum wheels are a
unique-to-Summit twin five-spoke design.

The rear fascia is dominated by dual rectangular exhaust outlets and dark gray lower body cladding.
These features are unique to Summit models, as is a new Summit badge on the lower right side of the
tailgate.

Thank you Milous.
Until 12 months ago I hardly knew JEEP existed....total ignorance. That 2011-2013 Grille grabbed my attention and converted me to Jeep for the first time. It's funny once that happens, now I see Jeeps everywhere. I must say I am very pleased with the Summit. I like the chrome. It's not bling. I love the wheels too. I said once before that maybe its an age thing. I think it makes this car classy. I have now moved into the conservative "aged" group I guess. I do hope we get the Summit in Australia. Up until now we have only had the Overland but it had everything a Summit has except the extra chrome in the Grille....and I want that too. Never enough chrome for this old codger. Thankyou to Milous, Scott, Chevvy, Marlon etc. I too felt for you guys when those pictures were leaked. I will be staying up until after midnight (12.01am Tuesday morning) here for the Detroit Launch. I hope the Jeep.Com site does not crash.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Now I see why Milous wants a black SRT... I think the Limited and SRT8 definitely so far take the cake. The Summit its too fussy. Maybe its the red color? Also some of the chrome looks out of place, may look better on Grey or Black. Also,as much as I love the new Indigo/brown interior on the Overland, I think (this is the first time I'll admit this) that the Saddle Interior looked far richer than the Jeep Brown does. The SRT8 is definitely killer! I still am waiting for the Overland and Laredo pics!! Milous again thank you! Scott thanks for the awesome site! Chevy that Indigo interior is hawt! Marlon glad you got your dart on the move that is such a nice car!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

They removed the standard HID headlights and Commandview sunroof from the limited.

At least the Limited gets dual exhaust with the v6 now.

...when clean, yes... that's why I'm leaning towards the greys (and I am spoilt for choice!).
Black is known for being a PITA to keep clean, and only really looks good when clean.

Hell yea!!! The new steering wheel is awesome! The grill I think works best with the SRT8 than it does the rest of the models but man those headlights (minus the washer black plastic thingy)!!!!! I hope the Overland from the lower fascia chrome piece follows that of the Limited instead of the summit, it looks like a weight bar! Man I blown away with the way the SRT8 looks. Milous if you're awake... lets make a deal.. we both go in together and buy a black on black SRT8 you keep it 6 weeks I'll keep it 6 weeks

Yes, Overland and Summit are scheduled for Australia. No idea on price.

Yea I'm kind of lucky with my Max steel, as its almost black I was afraid I would be washing it all the time. But lucky for me it does hide dirt a little better than black. I have a friend with a black 300 and he's constantly washing it, and that's kept in a garage!

A "time share" SRT, that could be fun!

But with the Limited you can optionally add a standard or dual pane sunroof. You get a
choice.

The Command view is also included in the Limited Luxury Package.
