[QUOTE=DaddyOBest;739753]Milous, Chevy, Scott
Jeep is making a BIG MISTAKE by not offering Saddle or Sepia for the interior of the Overland and Summit!!! These are Signature Jeep Colors!!! Other Manufactures have copied Jeep and are putting them in their lineup. Jeep has made a MAJOR BLUNDER by eliminating them in the Overland & Summit !!! BAD MOVE !!! These colors are not for everyone, but they have a large following. I put off buying a 2013 just knowing Saddle would be offered especially since they had expanded to Black Saddle. Can't backup to a 13 with all the new advances. I was ready to pull the trigger on a 50K Summit but now am backing off to see if anything happens. Only got 30k Miles on my Lincoln so I not pressured only Sad!!

Jeep did some copying of their own with the saddle and black look for the interior.

This is my 11 year BMW convertible (special ordered and picked up via Euro delivery) with what BMW calls natural brown. Audi had a baseball glove interior on the TT when they first launched the car. All the others are just tardy to the party.

It is a great combo and I would pick it on a 11-13 but I'm looking forward to he indigo on the overland and not too broken hearted over saddle being gone.

For all I know I could have gotten 1% less or something but I'm happy to just to be ordering.

So, tomorrow, I order if all goes well. He said I'd be for sure on first allocation which is March. Sadly.. being an SRT going to Canada - that shit will take 4-6 months easy.

So although many of you might order after me, you'll get your toy before me. Feel free to rub it in how awesome it is. I shall live vicariously through you until mine arrives.
What dealer are you ordering from? I believe your in Alberta, same as me.
I am also ordering tomorrow.

*Another Chevyboy guarantee* There WILL BE more options later. I've hinted at this. Milous has given examples of things that'll be "late availability," and by the end of MY '14, you guys will see the progression.

It costs them nothing to add seating color options now, and the other stuff, but then what else would there be to do for the following 18months with this model?
Here's hoping "late availability" means month 4-6 and not 14-16 of the 18month model year

Milous, I think posted what kind of wood is in the different interiors. I can't find it. I want to know what kind of wood will be in the 2014 Overland with Black interior. What it's called. And also what the type of wood in the Indigo Blue/Brown interior is.

Or is it something completely different (and appologies if this has been already answered)?
I will have the answer tomorrow

It costs them nothing to add seating color options now, and the other stuff, but then what else would there be to do for the following 18months with this model? Put on your marketing hats for a min and think like a salesman. What's the best way to keep the buzz going in such a long model year?.. Your answers may differ from theirs, but when you're paid to strategize BEYOND TODAY, you tend to hold a lil back!

I'm sorry some of you are disappointed, but I assure you, this band is gonna play in Texas, and the fiddle is still in the case!
Uconnect just hit major award status and is "late availability". I gotta believe that Jeep is doing everything it can to hustle those systems out ASAP. Yes? No? Or will the 5" Uconnect system available now (first models out of JNAP) have to suffice until the 8.4" models can join the party 2 or 3 months after first delivery end Feb/begin Mar?

Also, will tow hooks be available on Limiteds? Look to be only options for Laredo E and Overland. Catching up on posts and my memory banks are telling me somebody discussed this already but I'm not finding it.

Thanks again to all for their time and input and willingness to address our questions.

Almost every Limited-SRT pilot I saw over the past 6 months had the 8.4.. The lil guy was in some of the Limited's, but not many. So I can't imagine why it wouldn't be.. THAT is a major selling point for many.

I'm like 99% sure the Limited gets tow hooks. And I saw a vast amount of them with the chrome tow hooks like the Overland. I'm not sure if the listing shows chrome hooks available on the Limited, bc Milous gave no confirmation, and I haven't had time to check the specs on WK2jeeps for myself, but there's been too many of them WITH chrome hooks for it not to at least be an option, or part of a lux package (?).
