However, the Summit in that bright white, with the chrome, actually looks pretty sharp.

...I still don't think I'll get one.. but, it does look pretty nice.
I was really considering a white 14 SRT.... hmmm its really harder to keep clean than black?

Ehh.. not as hard.

But, it's not as easy as, say, Silver.

Silver you can ignore washing for weeks, it just looks like a different petina.

White shows the road dust/dirt (down by the wheels and such) as bad as black does in my opinion. But it doesn't show up as baddly on the hood and upper facia/wheel arches.

However, a scratch or scuff DOES stick out like a sore thumb, especially on the bumpers as they appear to be made of molded black plastic.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Quick question on the UConnect system:

Do we know what all hardware/OS's it supports?

That is, does it support all mobile platforms (iOS, Android, WindowsPhone, BlackBerry), or just a subset?

And is it specific to an OS release? That is, iOS5, but not 4, Win8, but not Win7.5, etc...

It's more than likely using a known Public secure Protocol to make the connection between the vehicle and the mobile device.

So, it's probably supported on any device that can support an App that uses the protocol (which opens the door pretty wide to most smartphones I'm assuming).

However, I'm wondering if Jeep is supplying the mobile apps for all the various platforms, OR, if it's just a select few.

I work in mobile devices, so I understand just how expensive native apps are to build for multiple platforms.

It's that or they may have gone the less expensive way and built a generic HTML5 app (which almost any mobile device can use).

I think the new Volvo S60 is like this too (and IMO the S60 is quite a nice car).
I'm sure those are the final rear LED lights with incandescent bulbs for the signals and brake lights. The bean counters had their say.

Go here: Ram - Uconnect

select year 2013, and RAM 1500, RA4, Then you can check the phone and carrier to see what it allows!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Milous, I noted in the ording thread that you are not mentioning the lane depature warning anymore

I kind of was expecting this. No one really mentioned it yesterday and it was only mentioned in the package description. Any idea whether this will a late availability?

Any news on the stop and go feature?
