Anyone know if the 2014 will be at the Philly Auto Show this weekend?

Still waiting for the order banks to open. I would've thought they'd be open at the top 'o the mornin'.

Owned 2 black, 2 red and 1 white JGC. IMO the red's were easier to keep clean.

Dealers have told me the same thing...None of them have any idea on pricing yet either.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Just catching up to posts from overnight, glad to see that "things will change" in terms of what's available now and what might be available later (thanks Chevy!). Them marketing folks DO need to hit us up in the summer with a new idea...how about a bug in their ears for a Southern Package...ventilated seats with no sunroof! I'll wait for the CRD anyway and say adios to my beloved 03 Dodge 5.9 Cummins-she's got +230K but I still love that old 5.9L. Here's to a new Limited CRD in whatever color the wife chooses---and she's tied to Light Frost leather...like I said, NO dark colors down here in TX...keep up the good work there on the line!

According to the map they will be between Toyota and Mazda, right across from Chrysler. The booth shows Jeep and Camp Jeep.

Here is the Granite. It's Black for the most part, another one of the 50 shades of gray set.

Also, as the White Jeep was a Summit, was the trim work the copper or was it silver in the Black interior?

It looks silver, but it's hard to tell.
silver

Can you confirm this will be the same way for production?

It appears from the all the B roll footage that they LED DRL's stay on in the Summit and Limited models. Why not the SRT? Those LED's give the front end so much presence.
the LEDs around the headlmaps stay on on the limited/summit shown because they DO NOT have a dedicated DRL like the SRT.(led bumper strip on SRT) The SRT LED headlamp strip DO NOT stay on while driving because it has the LED strip on the bumper. That came from the SRT lead engineer on this project Dave Cottrell.

SRT is having a round table question session today and I have submitted about 10 questions for possible answers...this is one of them.

I called in to a dealer today and looked at all the colours and again other than the silver the white looked the cleanest. I wonder what others have experienced with reference to dirt showing up on their cars? I would really like to buy the white.
I have a deep cherry and thats not what I have expeienced and I am the most anal person out there about my jeep. I went from Dec 21st to January 8 between washes and that was driving it almost daily. Red is extremly easy to keep clean and take care of....if you do it right. ANY color will show abuse if you abuse it.

As with any other color, the granite looks different in different lighting conditions too. Haven't seen it in person but in other photos I've seen I don't think it looks that dark. If it looked like that in the other photos I'd have considered it.

It's kind of like the Forest Green thing. I took this yesterday around 4 pm, it was overcast. And it looks black. If you live in Arizona and see it in bright sunshine it doesn't look as black but definitely nothing close to silver.
