For the flipper glass I quoted it because it doesn't give much room for interpretation.

But I am sure the base for this document was the '13 manual, which was edited to reflect the '14 changes, and it is more than possible we didn't see the final version. So it may well mean absolutely nothing... but we didn't get to 8'000+ posts talking only about what is 100% certain. It wouldn't be fun...

I asked Scott about the LED taillights and he said he asked at the show and they said they are full LED. I guess we'll have to wait for Milous, Chevy or Marlon to eyeball some when they come off the line to see if the brake lights are LED.

Scott also said the CD/DVD player is in the center console. I wonder how much room it takes up. Anyone who is going to the show, maybe you can get a photo and post it?

There is a picture in the SRT thread ...takes up quite a bit of room.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Just wanted to say thanks for all the info. Lurking on these boards for the past few months saved me making the major mistake of getting a 2013. Not to mention its been very entertaining!

Now I'm waiting for final invoice pricing to see if I can afford an Overland with ORII or if I'm getting a Limited.

So yeah, no questions, just a big THANK YOU!

Here's the picture of it on a Dodge Challenger. It's very similar to the Mineral Gray that was on the GCs for years.

I may be wrong but I believe that just means in order to get the Laredo E and any other options or packages you must get the E package (the 2013s also require the E package in order to get options and other packages). Also, Pat posted an image of a document he got via e-mail a couple days ago that seemed to suggest that base non-E Laredos will still indeed exist, but won't start being built until July.

Also, I'm hoping this remains true for the 2014s, but for the 2013s the invoice on the E group is like less than half of what the MSRP is set at. And with the E you get a power driver's seat and a couple other things too I think.

Thanks, hopefully someone can confirm this. I need a Laredo 4X4 with ZERO options.
