Haha...that's funny. "No longer available" in a user manual that was launched probably before production started.

Is it 100% certain that we can't order some of Summit options like HK stereo, adaptive headlights, blind spot warning, etc. on a Limited or Overland?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

So did anyone ever figure out for sure which color the Limited is on the official photos posted over at wk2jeeps.com? This one: http://www.wk2jeeps.com/2014/2014_wk2_Limited_001.jpg

I know they are using HDR with the contrast turned way up, but I want that color. I thought it might have been max steel, but looks a little too blue. Was this ever figured out?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

The consensus is the color of the jeep in those shots is max steel. They probably used a circular polarizer filter on the lense; that tends to make the sky contrast darker and makes reflections that make it past the filter more blue.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

What in the h were they thinking when they designed the front end of these 2014's? And those headlights.... absolutely horrible.... how anyone here can like the new front end compared to last years I will never know. Man did they screw up bigtime. The new interior is nice and the 8 speed and diesel are good. But why they had to mess up the front I will never know. If it ain't broke, you know the rest....

If it isn't in the options section then it isn't possible as that is all we have to go off of.

To each his own; you don't even like the front-end on the non-red, non-Summit-chromed-out 2014s such as the one shown in this video?

I think it looks pretty badass. As long as it looks similar in real life I'll be very happy.

I'll admit the new front-end doesn't look good to me on the red Summit though. But other than that...

I agree, although I think the Laredo headlights look better. I prefer the looks of the old grille vs the new one, but I was waiting for the eight speed before purchase. In my perfect world, there would have be no exterior changes, just the eight speed and interior.

The front end for 2013 was much better . Look at the headlights year to year. Anyone can see which is better.
