Um, I'm gonna be honest. From what I've heard, we won't run normally for a few weeks.

Crap. So does that mean that there will be no/very very few completed vehicles during that time, or just that things are going to be moving at a slow pace for a while?

SSSSSSSSSLLLLLLLOOOOOOOWWWWWW.....

Like back in 2010... We would just have complete gaps if we didn't have WDs to fill the spots.

Personally, I don't like the red Summit at all (in the photos, might feel differently seeing it in person), but I do like everything else I've seen, especially the dark colored Limited shown in the press photos and videos -- the new grille/frontend actually looks good and pretty badass (hopefully that will translate to real life, I think it will) and looks MUCH better than the spy shots suggested it would.

... Are you trying to give us a hint of some sort though?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Honestly, I'm surprised that Milous hadn't chimed in on this yet.. I'm sure he's heard about what's been going on.

Anyway, like Marlon said, it is about time with the quality.. This further proves the changes in QC that we've all proclaimed. And although old Chrysler did used to let A LOT slide on out the door, even they would've even had to stop the presses on this! So I'm impressed at the way this is being handled. Because in previous launches, we would've had 10,000 cars built before they even caught any problem! Then there would've been the infamous "oh sh!t" moment!

I've been talking to a LOT of JNAP old schoolers and they have all said this would NOT have happened. It would have just been business as usual.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Ugh, dilemmas... My leased vehicle goes back on Friday. I've usurped an old company car that I figured I would drive until early March. Dreading driving around a little Ford Fusion that long. Now, if this is really going to take that much longer, thinking I might need to scrap the whole thing and get a '13. Don't think I can handle that basic fusion longer than anticipated..

Decisions, decisions.......

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

This is very disappointing. But obviously I'd rather experience a delay in getting my vehicle than receive a vehicle with quality issues.

I just hope things get resolved sooner than later.

Awww c'mon, don't be like that.. Don't let our transparency scare you. It's just a lil glitch.

You'll get your Jeep on time.. We just gotta make sure it's right!

It's better to get things sorted out now, and provide you a quality product for all the money you'll spend, than for you to get it a week or two sooner, and have it in and out of the dealer where God knows who is gonna have to try to fix it.
