Thanks for the clarification. Assumed it did but you know what they say about assuming anything.

That Cashmere Pearl doesn't look all that bad. Would have to see it in person though.

White looks so much better on the Overland than the Summit. Maybe it's just me but those fender flares, grill, and lower facia make a huge difference

We have flat roads and garages here...no stress on the gearbox.

Think Outside !- No Box Required.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I use my parking brake on decent inclines but that's it. I've never actually heard of anyone breaking a parking pawl and I'm assuming it's a hardened steel pin so holding a vehicle at a slight incline should be well within it's strength limits.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Time ago I was complaining based on the feature information provided that the Summit did not have Selec Speed Control like the Overland for ascent/descent control.

However, in the images available now and also on Jeep's 2014 website the track control panel of the Summit does still show the hill descent button (?) on the lower left side of the Selec Terrain Panel. The Summit website text also says "the Summit has everything that the Overland has plus ....." but this may be just marketing poetry.

QUESTION: What is the function of the hill descent button in the Summit, if the Summit does not have Selec Speed Control? Or does it have it in the end?
