Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Thanks Chevy...are there any pics of a Limited with the optional larger wheel around? I don't recall seeing them posted here or in any press photos.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

So, that would make them the 'off road' wheels for the Overland?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Is there any difference or change how the remote and keyed entry works with the 2014? Can you open looked door and/or rear with just the key? How about starting with just the key?

I am trying to figure out how I will be able to go surfing without hiding the remote someplace. With my current rig, I simply remove the remote from the ignition key that I loop into my wetsuit and leave the remote inside.

With keyless ignition this complicates things. Not sure if I want to leave the remote inside. Just break the glass, find the remote, drive off. Thoughts?

Thanks- Eric

Does the RA4 play DVDs or any type of disc?

I think they will. Its kind of odd the way they are doing the wheels. Of course I have thought a lot of things with the 2014 is odd.

I am not one to chase prices. I felt the 1% under invoice is a fair, but not great price. I did negotiate the trade in, and they came up $1,000. I am dealing with Dan Wooley, who seems to be as knowledgeable as any salesman, about the vehicle.

I also took time to visit their service department, just to take a look around. They were fine with having me walk around to see what was going on. The place was clean, orderly, with no screaming customers in sight. That's usually a plus.

Yeah, those are the 3 I was going to ping. I work out of Kent General so Holden being right across the street would be potentially convenient.

Colors-wise still considering Granite also, maybe moreso now to avoid the fashion faux pas should I run across you at Bombay Hook (assuming you do some photography there?)

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

LOL Even if you two get Maximum Steel one could look more blue/grey and one could look more blue/black. It definitely leaves people wondering "what the hell color is that?", I just say blue/black/grey with some shiny stuff on it. When you tell non jeeper people the color name, they just go "blue, wait no black"...

I do not believe there is an optical drive of any sort in the head unit. Your options are,SD card, usb,Bluetooth streaming, or internet streaming unless you get the optional remote cd/dvd or Bluray player.

Think Outside !- No Box Required.
