I stated months ago that you'll probably be getting the Summit and the Overland. And there were a great many export (RHD) pilots built of each. If you're looking for confirmation direct from Milous, then no, that hasn't come yet.

But with respect to ambient lighting, I see no reason why the export won't get it as well. When they go into production I'll check it out and see what differs between you guys' version and ours. If anything.

But again, I'm 99% sure you guys will get the Summit. And I'm abt 75% sure you'll get both the Summit and Overland.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

In the states we just go to Autozone to buy "ambient lighting", errr...
I'd like a setting to change the backlit display colors.

Chevyboy's earlier prediction was right on the money and Milous responded to me some few hundred posts back that AUS will indeed be getting both Summit and Overland.

I guess the question now is what the standard features and options will be, as in the past they've differred quite a lot from the US specs.

Webber. I have a feeling the June/July ETA is just the dealers giving themselves some breathing space around the orders without making it sound "too" long, i mean they're not gonna say to us... "yeah we can order you one, but we can't even begin to tell you when it'll come"... Here's hoping Jeep will do the sensible thing and keep the options the same as they currently are on the MY13, otherwise they'll no longer have the competitive edge in the market here in terms of features and pricing.

Anywhere from 2-65 miles. And contrary to popular belief, odometers do NOT start at negative digits.

65 miles? Does someone take them home for a couple days!? My experience with new vehicles has been less than 5 miles, typically.

The ones with up to 65 miles are those selected for the Customer Satisfaction Audit.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

First time poster here.
On The CRD GC, does anyone know if the Diesel Exhaust Fluid (DEF) holding tank has a sensor to read the amount in the tank?
For the overseas poeple - in the earlier diesel power GC, did you have a DEF tank and if so how often did you need to refill it?
By the way - for people that may what to know, the DEF fill is under the fuel fill door next to the capless fuel fill.

If I'm not mistaken, I think most "proper" HIDs are projectors. I think the personal originally asking the question may have been wondering (at the very least, I am) whether or not halogen projectors are brighter or superior than what I assume the JGC used before, which is halogen reflectors. Even if the bulb used is the same.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Does anyone know if I can see the interior colors in any MY13 models of the brown and black that will be available in the 14 Summit? Wife is good on everything but the interior and wants to see it in person.

Hopefully this new Ambient lighting will be very nice. I am surprised you guys in the States are not aware of this ambient lighting because it was available to buy through your "Just Jeeps" site in America. It said it put lighting in the front and rear footwells and the cup holders.....and at the flick of a switch you could change the colour of the lighting. You guys are crazy about your Jeeps. It's a wonder their has not been mention of Just Jeeps before.
It's on this forum and at least one person got it I think. Sno hasn't been around that long and doesn't have a WK2 yet. But he will soon.
