or Limited without LuxII gets you projector halogen headlights without the filler piece. Limited also has vertical slits, not honeycomb mesh behind the grille.

Lots of fascia/grille parts on the '14's!

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I'm not sure if this has been posted but found the manual for the Radio/Nav from the 2013 Ram which should be the same as the 14 GC. It looks like the menu on the bottom of the screen can't be minimized unless they fixed it with a software update for the 2014 GC. Here is the link for anyone interested http://www.ramtrucks.com/download/pd...oad-button.y=8

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

It just doesn't make sense to tout a new bigger screen just to use it for a bunch of redundant buttons. The maps, as pictured, don't look like they would fill a six inch screen.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I saw the new Grand Cherokee at the North American International Auto Show. Now I can't decide if I should order a V-6 or diesel!

I've posted similar opinions in other threads recently but I'll do it again. You can get the Cooper Discoverer AT3's in that size and they are an incredible tire. I put them on my vehicle fairly recently but have had ice, rain, and lots of snow since then. I'm honestly shocked just how good these tires are.

Route 66 m8,

Here in Orstraylya, thats a no brainer. We've had the diesel for some time now and the diesel leaves the petrol/gas for dead.
Have a look at the figures, you know it makes sense!!

The diesel has more torque than the V8.

The numbers here downunder definitely favour the diesel by a big margin.

Glad youre catching on with what we know, Route 66.

Mine wont arrive till about June, damn it. Why are we so far away?

Hang on!! Why are you so far away from us then??

Bluey

Thanks.

The 2014 GC is a Harman Kardon nav system. Is the Ram Garmin or HK? It may make a difference. But then again, Jeep may dictate the whole interface because of their need to run all the devices.

If I understand this, you originally wanted a Summit. Now you are willing to give up all the creature comforts that you use, just to avoid the two ugly pieces of black plastic under the headlights. Since you can't see the headlights when you're inside the Jeep, who are you buying it for, yourself or the people who will see it while you're driving it?

Good question and the manual doesn't state which it is that I could find. Might have to stop by a dealer to investigate in person. Does anyone know if a 8.4AN model is the same in every vehicle or if there is a more specific part number that would differentiate Garmin or HK as the nav?
