I hate to get into color discussions cause it's like tire threads or oil threads, everyone likes what they like. I sat in an indigo jeep at the auto show and I think it's something you will either love or hate. I know Scott is a big fan but it wasn't for me. I would suggest if you are considering it, sit in one first.

Marlon, or Chevy,

On the Black Interior on Overlands, what color is the stitching on the dash, doors, and middle console? And what color is the edge on the seats?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Milous, Robo and others:-
What do you make of this email from a dealer I am in close contact with:-

Hi XXXX,
I had my regional manager here a couple of days ago, the summit is definitely still not being picked up for our market, he went through a few of the differences between the overland and the summit with me, and our overland is optioned with all factory options the summit is standard with i.e. Quadra lift, 20” polished alloy wheels, dual panoramic roof and many more.

Just thought I’d put you mind at ease that we will not be getting the summit in the foreseeable future...
Regards, name deleted.

Robo has ordered an Overland and I am wanting a Summit so Milous, can you tell me what Robo will get with an Overland and what I would get with a Summit when the orders are both lodged for Overlands. I want to stress this dealer is trying to be very helpful and has been making inquiries on my behalf but what he has found out appears to be in complete conflict to what Milous is advising.
Will the Australian car look like a US Overland or a US Summit. In my case I want the chrome bling where Robo has indicated on this site he wants the US Overland appearance. What on earth is happenning.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Well...My research is complete and my decision is made. I want to thank everyone here for the information and excitement that I have enjoyed. My congratulations go out to everyone with those orders for a 2014 either in process or close to it. In my case, Saddle, flipper glass, and the current look won out. I am expecting to take delivery of my new 2013 Grand Cherokee Overland 4WD on Friday morning. That won't stop me from continuing to enjoy and learn from this site. In fact, I'm looking forward to being "part of the family". Thanks to all. Let's see some photos soon.
