Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Random Google image search came up with this shot I hadn't seen previously... the only billet silver-ish(?) shot I've found. Looks way hot.

Just the way the system works, some show dates some do not, no idea why.

Try this link for a look at billet silver at around the 3 min mark. I like a lot!

Oh yeah, forgot about that one buried there at the end - Nice. My internet-stalking of this vehicle is taking a major toll on my productivity at work today. Once the reviews start coming out I might have to start taking vacation days to keep up!

I know the feeling! Luckily I'm retired, but my wife is starting to feel neglected. Hopefully I'll have ordered one by the time the reviews start kicking in, then I can be obsessed about delivery!

That looks like a Summit and according to the colours listed for USA and Canada the Summit dosn't come in billet only granite crystal. So is this granite crystal?

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

It's a black and white image so who knows what color it is. I would think it's too light to be Granite. Granite is closer to (or is) the color of the lower trim below the chrome pieces. Looks like billet silver. Billet silver to be available on the Summit maybe? Could be an edited photo of bright white or even cherry red though, if they took out all the color and lightened or darkened the photo.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

At a dealer my wife saw billet silver (per the window sticker) on a 2013 Wrangler and says it looks like battleship gray, not bright or silvery at all. The word billet often refers to military housing so maybe this is what they are trying to invoke. My wife thought the Wrangler just needed large black numbers and a U.S. Navy license plate to fit right in with the many military vehicles here in San Diego. Unfortunately, that's not what we want to drive. We were hoping for a 2014 JGC in silver because our 2008 Liberty still looks great after 5.5 years. Apparently not.
