OK Mr. Know-it-all let's see if you have the correct answer. Throw out your best guess....please!

It's not. Milous said "are you planning on doing any off-roading?". You never would use run flats off-road. You carry a full size spare when off-roading.

Agreed. Other manufactures have gone to run flat tires when they add scr (urea) to a vehicle because they place the scr tank where the spare tire was.

It will be interesting to see what the Jeep engineers came up with.

Now wouldn't that be nice! Air-down for beaches, then air-up without having to find a station or carry a spare tank/compressor.

Any possibility one would be able to get QDII & ELSD on a non-Overland model without QL?

Also, can't be run flats (thank goodness) as Milous said that what ever this tidbit is has never been offered on a Jeep before. The SRT8 is available with Pirelli run flats.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I simply have no clue what it could be. First of all, I'm not an expert when it comes to off-roading and in addition to that, I can't think of a feature that will only be available on the CRD. Odinary features like run-flats have nothing to do with the choice of engine - which makes it even harder to guess..

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Maybe it has something to do with an extra low gear that would be available for only the diesels because of their torque capability at low rpm's? Either that or a factory installed winch. Or...how about a camoflage paint scheme or even a Ted Nugent inspired zebra striped paint job he had on his Bronco!

The winch came to my mind as well...
