Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

What I really mean is rear entertainment center ever going to be in a CRD or does being a diesel effect the ability to have one?

Why would it? It's a late available option, but I don't see why the engine choice would prevent it from being an option.

I liked it in person more than I thought I would. Darker than I'd figured ... Not that it's dark ... Pewter-like. One concern I have is that it almost seems a touch purple (just a hint) when skies are overcast.

Also saw billet Limited at the show, again very attractive. Much closer to bright silver that to mineral gray. Looked at billet on other models at local Chrysler/Jeep dealership but didn't care for it. Looked much better on the 2014 Limited in my opinion.

Also saw a Max Steel Dart at the show. Artificial lighting made color appear very similar to indoor pictures of it shown on this and other websites.
I will be going to this auto show tomorrow. My only concern with Billet is whether the lighting in the show will make it look lighter than in reality.

You will be able to order on CRD in July. Same for other engines.

The show lighting will make the Billet look much lighter. The one at the Chicago autoshow (the same one you'll see i am sure) looked like a normal silver, whereas a coworker just picked up a Dodge in billet and it looks darker in natural light, even on a sunny day. It is probably best described as 2 shades darker than the typical silvers you see on Toyota, BMW, etc.

If it is like in the Jeep Wrangler, then I like it a lot: 2013 Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Sahara 4x4 Billet Silver Metallic / Black Photo #1 | DealerRevs.com

The billet silver at the Cleveland Show is on a turntable, and if you're patient you can get a look that doesn't reflect too much ambient light. I must admit that billet silver on other models on the dealer lot do look somewhat darker, but not much. I ordered the billet silver on mine.
