I'd say it's granite - and it seems the lower painted portions match that color.

Would be strange if they would discontinue a color as a whole and then paint it on parts of a car that can't be ordered in that color any more..

I'm pretty sure the seats said Summit - so that would make the color Granite - Mineral Gray and Billet are not offered in the GCS.

The interior looked chocolate to me.

Which means that was my car - Granite with Chocolate.

The pockets on the 2014 20" Overland wheels are Mineral gray.

Love the color, it actually looks close to Mineral Grey . To bad Indigo interior is not available with it ...

This new Granite really looks great, especially on the Summit!

My dealer tried to order the 14 Summit with those Overland wheels.

Don't know if it will come that way - we'll see.

I think the Summit upgrade wheels look like something a ghetto pimp would love.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

This video from one of the Auto shows is of a 2014 Overland with black interior, and it shows white stitching on the steering wheel.

But, pictures of new 2014 Overlands with black interior on dealer lots seem to have black stitching.

What happened to the white stitching?

I literally just went to the garage to see which one mine had. This is a '14 Overland with black interior. Here are a few pics of it while in the garage:

And here are more out in the direct sun light. It really made everything shine and look nice.

jgc4ever, I notice the wood on the dash in your provided photo's shows the wood is "glossed" I thought the Overland had a "glossed" steering wheel and a natural "flat shine" on wood grain on the dash? Please confirm.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Question: The Summit is supposed to have no Selec-Speed Control, i.e. the new system for ascent-descent control like in the Overland. The Summit images however still show the Descent Control button on the Selec-Track panel.

Does the Summit now have Selec-Speed Control like the Overland, or has its Descent Control button on the Selec-Track panel a different functionality?

I don't own a 2014 and I didn't take those pictures myself, nor have I seen it in person, but from the pictures and from what others have said the 2014 Overland Black interior gets gloss Walnut wood on the steering wheel and also on the dash and door panels. For the Overland, the wood is like this only for the black interior. On the brown/frost-beige and also on the brown/indigo-blue interiors, you are correct.
