Jeez sno, your repost is almost completely invisible to those of us using a white background instead of the black. I can barely see what color it is.

I am wanting to buy a Summit also but it looks like the "powers to be" over here have decided to run with an optioned up Overland as our top spec model. I would go for the Summit anyday....good on you, enjoy. Am still hoping Milous is going to surprise the Aussies with news that we WILL get the Summit but it is looking more and more unlikely so I am pleased for you but also jealous.

Does the Summit with Brown interior come with brown floor mats?

I have a feeling there will be a few sleepless nights until then.

Thanks to Milous and the rest of the Jeepgarage community who have made my first Jeep experience such a good one!!!

The information found here and then the tracking really made this car buying experience the best of my lifetime!!!!
Congratulations on your purchase!

This reminds me that when I ordered my truck, my dealer and I were standing in front of a granite Summit. He pointed at the black headlight washers and offered to have them color-matched to the truck color before delivery, his treat. I found this a really nice gesture, and it shows how much HE is annoyed by the black plastic.

As I ordered the SRT, with the black grille this will most likely not be necessary anyway...

Is it just me or did the 2014 step in height got a little higher (again) than the 2011-13? I don't ever recall having to hop in my 5'4" body in the WJ, WK and the pre '14 WK2. The fact the moved the handle bar to the roof from the A Pillar might make me reconsider a JGC or eventually install a step if and when I pick up a MY14. Still have a toddler to put in a rear facing convertible chair in the backseat so may make it difficult without a step bar.

When you can't read text, try highlighting it as if you were going to copy it. This changes the color of the text and usually makes it legible.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Summit update... I checked out a black and granite summit today, both have the lower trim as granite or a color very close to granite. I wanted to purchase the granite one but it is going to be on display at the Denver Auto show next week. It had the brown interior which was pretty sharp looking. I doubt I buy that one after the Auto show since everyone will be crawling in and out of it. I drove the black one and liked but found a quality control issue. The suede like headliner went down right front pillar but not left one. Brought to dealers attention and he was aware and already ordered the left front pillar replacement. I am still on the fence about diesel vs HEMI. I know I would be happy with either.

How did the black summit look with the granite lower trim? Seems like it could be an odd color combo. Not a lot of contrast.

Get a GC with Quadra Lift. Lowers veh 2" below ride height for entry and exit.

It still looked sharp. The chrome kind of splits top and bottom in some areas. It does come down to personnel preference as well. If someone is looking for a lot of contract between top and bottom, go with white. I like the black and granite on the summit. My first choice would probably be max steel but not offered in the summit. I was originally going to go with the overland but after today, it looks like summit is in my near future.
