Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

I want to put in an order on a black summit but haven't been able to pull the trigger until I see one in person. If I could choose I would pick the body color lower trim like the overland. I guess I could always get the lower trim painted if I didn't like it. Having hard time passing up on the extra features the summit has

Sorry I've been away guys.

Buying a house, work has been driving me nuts
, I need to find a way to drop the lbs I've gained over the last few months with no clue how I put them on... ugh.

Let me just tell the truth...

CO-WORKERS have been driving me nuts...

Glad to have you back. Yes, buying a house can be stressful. By the way, I should take delivery next week of the Summit that you tagged for me.

Would love to but too much money! Other than step in height, it's the only SUV I like to leave sedans behind.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

When I was looking at limiteds on a local lot I noticed this one that almost looks like my overland in mid/high mode. Looked sweet so I thought someone might have left the QL up. I look in and it was just a base limited with no QL. Siting right next to another limited you could see a visible difference between the other 14. So I parked my overland next to it and the mirror was probably 2-3 inches higher than mine. Maybe the things settle over time? Sure seemed odd but it was sweet looking. Being it was 2 14's I was a little shocked at such a difference.

I don'tl know about Jeep, but most other manufacturers use spacers to keep the springs from compressing during transport. It keeps the vehicle more stable when tied down. If Jeep uses such spacers, and the '14 wasn't dealer prep'd, it would still have the spacers. Even if dealer prep'd, sometimes the dealer people forget to remove the spacers.

Great point. It was at night, might have just gotten off the truck.

My sales person sent it to me to torture me until they can prep it for delivery.

I have a feeling there will be a few sleepless nights until then.

I'd faint if my salesperson ever sent me a picture (or did anything else for that matter). When I pick up my Summit, I can't wait to tell him and the owner that I bought it despite him not because of anything he did.

"A few sleepless nights" ? Don't they just wash it and toss you the keys ?
