I haven't changed my driving style much but I can feel the difference.

I have a buddy that bought a 2013 overland and he said he could tell a big difference at 2500 miles.

Now both of these are HEMIs but if I was a manufacture, I would program the car to provide 70% power until it went through break in. I know I wasn't to impressed with the 13s with v6 or HEMI when I test drove them but I was spoiled on the 4.7HO 03 JGC and how responsive it was with a chip, cold air intake, and exhaust system.
Pretty sure the computer is limiting stuff on the SRT... I know that LC works, but it only revs to about 1200 rpms. In other words, just stomping on the gas in auto leaves harder than LC currently. (No, I'm not ragging it out, just testing all the features )

The gas mileage between the V8 and V6 is all dependent upon driver input and maintenance neither one of them will ghetto hybrid numbers so it just depends on what you're doing and how you're enjoying your jeep.

For those still wondering, the DEF tank is located on the underside of the spare carrier behind the rear axle. It's protect by a skid plate.

Lankness, Have you tried out the Eco mode yet? I am wondering how much it dials back the power (fun). I drove a Summit V8 yesterday and could not tell any difference in a short test drive.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

It doesn't seem to do anything at this point. The light on the button turns on, but there isn't any notification light on the dash. It also doesn't remember the setting - i.e. turn off the vehicle and turn it back on at the button light is off.

I need to read on it to see if I need to do something else...or maybe it is disabled at first during break in?

Apparently unlike the V6/V8, ECO mode is not the default setting when you start up the SRT. You have to purposefully select ECO in the SRT -- why anybody would commit such a sin, I do not know.

think it's safe to say, they could've left the eco mode off of the srt

Yea, I know. I thought I read a post by Milous that it would remember the setting though. I may have been sleep-reading the forum at that time though... I had some bad habits forming while waiting/watching MOTS

It's a diagnosed problem: MUDD -- Milous Update Deficit Disorder. My wife's prescription is "chill the heck down, go outside and make like you're useful and mow the lawn or something."
