Power Take-off for things like winches and snowplows.

Compressor for automatically inflating/deflating tires while in motion.

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Well... if it's only available on the CRD versions... clearly it has to deal with the torque/low RPM's from the engine.

The only things I can think of have to deal with gearing or tire size when it comes to offroading.

Isn't it possible that although only AVAILABLE on the diesel, that it's not necessarily related to the diesel engine? Something that will entice people to buy the diesel over the hemi?

I HIGHLY doubt it.. They've had no problem selling CRDs thus far. The demand being so high is what's fueling the coming increased US availability. As stated before, the feature is probably something that would be most beneficial in conjunction with a Diesel as opposed to a gas engine. If not DIRECTLY related to a Diesel engine. Sorta like how PTO pumps and block heaters used to be. A few of the ideas being thrown around sound good, but most don't fit the criterion provided by Milous.

Will it have the option to be fueled by banana peels and half a can of beer?

The hint that it basically was never available on any other SUV in the U.S. is actually making it harder to figure it out. As a consumer, you simply know features from other cars but your horizon is somewhat limited if you have to guess something that is totally new.

That's probably the reason why every additional hint so far made it harder and not easier.

My guess is that most of us are going to be disappointed once we find out what it is. There has been quite a bit of hype over this these past days. Chances are that it will be some stupid nick nack are high. Just sayin'.....

Impossible.

After all, we get an additional switch, knob or control.
