I've just come to grips with the fact that I'm not gonna get any sleep on the weekends They don't give a damn abt how this crap affects us, and so there's no use in bitchin.. Whatever.

I would try to go in on a Thursday and pull a double, bc I don't sleep Thursday nights anyway, but I just haven't talked myself into doing it yet. And I doubt they'd want me coming in smelling like the bar.
By extension, it sounds like they don't give a damn how it affects the product.

That's too bad.

You said it, not me.. You all have heard me on here touting how quality was moving in the right direction, and how the Fiat relationship/takeover and the implementation of their World Class Manufacturing (WCM) processes have benefitted Chrysler. But now... Ummm... You be the judge.

Diehard Jeep fans who've supported this model pre-2011, who happen to have an 11-13, will attest to the quality improvements over the 06-10 WKs and all the other junk before that.. But now things seem to be going backward. Sure, the software will get worked out, and the new ppl will get up to speed. But it'll only go so far. The variable in the equation is the shifts! Those other things are constants in every refresh/relaunch, and hiring phase.. Quality dips, then comes back.. They know that. But this schedule is killing quality.. Like I said, you be the judge.. THIS is why the quality has changed, from what seems like just yesterday. But again, what good does bitchin do?.. If they don't care, then that's too bad. Cause I do! And to so many here, these cars are a reflection of Marlon and myself. And my God-forsaken city. And so it'd serve us all well if they hadn't tried to fix sumn that wasn't broke.. BRING BACK A NORMAL WORK SCHEDULE!!! See what happens then...

Like I've said before, they're trippin over a dollar to pick up a dime. Saving a penny here, spending a dollar there.. Just doesn't make sense.. Even if the math was good, and what they saved wasn't wiped out by repair costs, inside and outside the plant, the bad vibes abt quality aren't something you need this early in a rebirth. Way to redefine "buzzkill." Anyway, I'm done ranting. Just some of my thoughts... *Exits stage left*

Wow, that was a mouthful. Unfortunately, my experience is baring out your words... Hopefully they see what is going on, and make adjustments, cause I really want to be proud to have an awesome jeep, but right now, I have everyone I know saying "see, you should have known better than to get a Jeep"

So I am supposed to drive five hours to pick up a Limited V8 on Friday, I'm not locked in yet. Is this major new feature something I'll be kicking myself over for not waiting? BTW the one I've picked out is pre $500 price increase on the V8.

puhleeeze tell me! You could even pm me, ;-)
