The "union" says we're not supposed to do more than 12. Management can only MAKE us do 10, and there's supposed to be at least 8hrs between shifts..

None of which apply to me... I've got bureaucratic immunity.

Actually they can MAKE us do 11.5 on our current work schedule if they felt like it.

They call that crap at Trenton all the time.

Now there's a comforting thought!

I guess the good news is we didn't get to find out if there was any affect on performance/reliability of the finished product ...

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Sorry to interupt and change subjects. Just tested the UConnect update and it is working MUCH better according to our #1 Beta tester. Anyway, it is a feature "fixed" so I think this is on topic.

UConnect updates available NOW!

Ah the stories I could tell...

One sample:

We had a Russian general visiting for a SALT tour and we were showing him our maintenance procedures on a site. At the time I was team chief... Our teams usually consisted of a Sr Airman or buck Sgt, an Airman First class and then a couple of Security Police, usually an Airman First Class and an Airman. We would load up our trucks with equipment and parts and head out to service missile sites scattered all over Missouri.

When we are done with the explanation and demo the Russian general looks at our base commander and says, in a thick Russian accent, "wait a minute... You are telling me you give these 'children' a truck tools and guns and send them out into the countryside to fix your missiles?"

Our base commander looks at him... Pauses... And says, "why yes, that's exactly correct, General"

The Russian looks flabbergasted and says, "...and they come back?"

Marlon/Chevy -- did you have to join a Hollywood union for your cameos in the JNAP documentary?

The cool thing is that with the new digital display, you won't have to. You can easily switch between MPH and KMPH.

Mine was in kph when I picked it up. The dealer took it for a test drive once it arrived to make sure it was problem free, but somehow missed that - shows how attentive the test drive was, lol.
