Here's one small thing i found strange about the new jeep..I'm wondering why they didnt put a visible flashing indicator on the dash to let people know you have an alarm and it's activated instead of having to look at a small flashing light on the dash??

Re: 2014 Grand Cherokee - Features & Changes

Can anyone tell me what the difference is on the Loredo MSRP 28795 and Loredo E MSRP 30495.

After looking the only thing I come up with is that you can add packages to the E .

Dealers as far as I know will do that anyways.

The tow hooks can't be fitted to the Australian GC because the holes don't exist for the brackets to be connected to the frame(?). My question, is it the frame that these holes exist on the US version or is it possibly a part that can be purchased separately from the US and swapped out. Thus allowing the tow hooks to be fitted to a Australian GC?

Thanks for taking the time.
Can you rephrase this.. I'm not understanding what you're saying/asking?

I'll try Went and got the instructions so as to get the terminology correct.

I believe, as explained by my dealer, that the export GC's don't have the holes drilled where the 18mm bolts pass through the spacer bracket and spacer for the tow hooks.

My question is, the piece of metal that owns those holes on the US model, can that piece be purchased and can you swap the export piece out and replace it with the US model piece? Also if it is possible to swap, how big a job would it be and could a dealer stuff your truck by attempting that?

Thanks and I hope that is clearer. If not I will try again

Is there any way you can get a pic of the part/structural piece you're talking abt so I can locate it in here and see if there are two different parts? I don't believe there are, but I can't say for sure, bc I can't picture what you're talking about at the moment.

Pretty common, its that way on both our Commander (long before Fiat) and on our Outback.

Hopefully this works. It is the part that contains the holes that items E,B,H, G use on page 3. And yes you ROCK! Thanks for showing patience with me

Hi Chevy,

I noticed that you can't see my attachment unless you are on a computer, it doesn't seem to come up on my iPhone. The attachment is the tow hooks instruction kit.

Cheers.
